Difference between rates at Swan and Dolphin

Just checked on availability through DU for these resorts for Labor Day Weekend. With a AP, there was a difference in price. If you book at the Dolphin with the lower price, are you getting the "old" room?

It was explained to me that until the renovations were complete at Dolphin there would continue to be a difference in the rates, because they cannot guarantee a renovated room at the Dolphin.

Once a the renovations are complete the Dolphin price is supposed to go up.

until all of the renovations are complete (by the way;anyone know where they are with it?), the Dolphin will have the lower price. I was told that this included the hallway renovations that will not be started until all of the rooms are done. With the vast majority of the room renovations done, you should be able to get a renovated room if you ask for it. It may help to also be a SPG member.
