I see a lot of mention of "preferred view" and "boardwalk view" regarding BWV, but looking at the points chart, I only see "preferred view" mentioned. When booking a room, do I specifically need to mention "boardwalk view", if that's what I want.

And how many points does it cost? Is it the same point cost as the preferred view?

Thanks in advance.

The prefferred view column in the book accounts for both the boardwalk view and reg pref view. The differance is that the regular prefferred views over look the pools, canals, gardens, and the Boardwalk view does just that...over looks the boardwalk. When booking a ressie you do have to ask for a Boardwalk view room...they do go quick though. We have stayed in a pref view overlooking the Luna Park pool...it was great. Next week will be our first trip with a Boardwalk View.....we can't wait.

Is it a request, or do you book it when you book the room.

It's a confirmed view - either boardwalk or preferred pool/garden.

Thanks for the info :thumbsup2 -- I'll be sure to book "Boardwalk view"

Also, if you call and the "Boardwalk" view is booked, you can waitlist for it .... :thumbsup2 seems to come through more often than not for us, depending on when you're going to be traveling ... good luck !!!!!! :wizard:

The Boardwalk View is AWESOME!!!! I just sat on the balcony and watched Epcot Sphere and all the activity on the Boardwalk.
