Hi Just came back from vacation a couple months ago booked on a free dining mail offer. It was a very good deal. I know there is no definite as to if or when Disney will offer free dining this coming year or not.
Just wondering about the Play, Stay and Dine offer that Disney offers from time to time. Is it a slight discount on each category? It is definitely not free dining but just trying to understand how the discount compares. From my limited knowledge the Free dining is the best offer Disney offers dollar for dollar. Your opinions would be appreciated. Trying to swing a visit for either November of 2014 or January/early february of 2015. ::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo::MinnieMo

I don't see where there is a play, stay and dine offer??
Anyways under that promo the dining is not free,

I think the play stay dine offer had to be booked by 12/31/2013. I don't know how the discount broke down in detail, but it worked out to roughly half off for adult quick service plans. There was a families with little ones offer that ran concurrently that was a better value for value resorts.

Thanks, for the info. I should clarify because my question read wrong. I did not mean to say there was a current play stay and dine offer. I was simply talking about the most recent play stay and dine offer they had at the same time as the % off the room offer. Just wondering if anyone knew how the offers compare. We have flexibility as to going in November/december as to January /February and really looking for the best deal. I have heard that Free dining is the best offer they have as far as value.

so the stayplaydine offer, did you have to pay rack rate at hotel to get it?

I believe there was a minor discount on the room also. We ended up switching from SPD to families with children deal. We were staying at POP and upgrading to Disney dining instead of QS. It was 2adults and 2 kids. Switching saved us $60.00 so it was a better deal for us.

We were going to do 6 nights at POFQ with PSD for two adults. It was a little under $2200. I got an unexpected free dining pin it ended up being just under $2000 for the same stay. I saved over $200 with the dining pin. Free dining is the better deal for us, but the PSD price wasn't bad either.
