Difference between HIFS & HI Maingate

I have stayed at HIFS and that is a great hotel for kids !!! the rooms are seperate ( well kids only has a curtain - but adult room has a door ) it was great for 3 adults and 2 kids..
Haven't stayed at HIME ( was supposed 6/15-6/21 changed to Swan w/ hotwire great rates ) and won't due to rudeness and lack of service ( more then once - about 5 times ) from their reservation/front desk staff !
