So I was doing some research on a specialty fireworks cruise and was checking the Dvc website of there was a discount. Well I came across that there is a special members only cruise that's $85 a person.

So the only difference I see so far is for 10 people the specialty cruise is like $350 and the Dvc cruise for 10 is like $850.

What am I missing??

DVC is putting people together for the cruise. If you book your own cruise you're paying for the entire boat or else finding people to share with. If you have enough for the boat that it would cost more with DVC than the price of doing your own boat definitely do book your own.

Might be some more snacks with DVC although I'm not positive.

Ohhh ok that makes sense. Going with 10 people we would have the Dvc boat all to ourselves too so I was in that mind frame. Didn't even think about it as sharing the boat with others if it was just two of us to go.

Thanks!!

In addition there have been reports that some of the DVC member magic experiances were canceled or rescheduled if they didn't get enough people to book.

Thank you for this thread. I was not aware there were actual DVC cruises. My family of four adults are going between Christmas and New Year's Day and would
love to book this.
