Hi,

Can anyone explain the differences between a dedicated 2BR and a Lock-off in BLT? I guess the lockoff would have the door between the 2 units (privacy), and also the extra little kitchenette. Is there a Sq Ft size difference?

Bed-wise, I'd think the lockoff has 1 Queen? in the bedroom, 2 sleeper sofas, and a bed in the studio's living room, and the D2BR has a king in 1 room, 2 Queens in the other BR, a sleeper sofa, and the pull-out chaise... is this correct?

Lastly, how can I tell from my ressie whether we have a dedicated 2BR or a lock off?

Thanks so much -- jackie

A dedicated 2-bedroom can only be reserved as a 2-bedroom. A lockoff 2-bedroom is a combination of a 1-bedroom and a studio with a connecting door between them. I belive that the reservations will only indicate if the 2-bedroom is a dedicated unit. If there is no indication, it should be a lock-off.

A 2 bedroom lock off is essentially, a 1 bedroom and a studio. It consists of 1 king in the master bedroom, a pull out sofa and sleeper chair in the living room, and then a queen bed and double pull out sofa in the studio or 2nd bedroom. I am not sure what types of beds are in the 2nd bedroom in a dedicated but I do believe that the sq. footage is either the same or close.

When you booked the room, you would choose a dedicated or lock off as I believe they are booking categories. If your ressie doesn't say, then I would contact MS and check.

Thanks everyone! My ressie says 2-bedroom villla, bay lake view. Not sure what that means - have asked my travel agent. Also asked her to put in a room request for outside room, north side, as high as possible -- that should (if filled) get me a decent MK view, right?

Will post a review and pics after our trip in early December...
