Difference between ADR & PS?

Is ADR only with the dining plan? If so, do you think that it makes a difference where you are seated or how you are treated (with guaranteed tip)?

There is no difference. Disney just changed the name from Priority Seating (PS) to Advance Dining Reservation (ADR).

I wish Disney would make up their mind and just stick with something.

I can't begin to list the number of times I've called to make a "reservation" only to be told WDW restaurants do not take reservations, they take Priority Seatings. Of course, they could never give me an adaquite distinction between the two.

Now at least they are calling it a reservation.
