We currently are using a towncar service for our upcoming trip. My DH asked me this morning to check out the cost of a limo. Does anyone know the cost of this? I figure that it is roughly double the cost of the towncar. Am I correct?

Thanks,
Joanne

I think you're right ... limos are about double the cost of towncars but it probably depends on which company you go with. Which towncar service are you using? If you go their webpage they should list the prices for the limos. Some of the companies want you to e-mail for the prices though....

I'm using Tiffany and their prices are not listed on their Website. I really don't want to pay double for the Limo so we'll probably stick to the Towncar.

Thanks for your help!

The primary reason to go with a limo is space; a limo has more seats than a towncar, though not as many as an executive bus.
Most limos can seat a minimum of six passengers (not counting the driver.) If you don't need that many seats, don't bother.

I don't think the OP will have a problem with this, but one thing to consider when you go with a Limo for the capacity is luggage space. Despite a limo being able to hold 6-10 passengers, it still has the same luggage capacity of a towncar. Of course, most limo drivers will accept a large piece of luggage in the front seat, and there's always the passenger cabin if worst comes to worst. But always something to consider when booking transportation. :)

Tyler~ I am so honored to have you reply to my post! No, luggage is not really a concern for our family of four. My DH just wanted the luxury!
I am enjoying your posts about Pop and may head on over for a visit next month.

One option you might consider is taking a limo one way (airport to your hotel) and then a town car for your return trip (hotel to airport). We did that on our last trip as we didn't want to spend lots of money on a limo both ways.

I had e-mailed a number of the towncar companies about this and many were willing to split the trip. However, if you take a limo, not all of the companies will make a grocery stop.
