Difference between 2BR value and 2 BR Standard at AKV?

Could anyone tell me, What exactly are the differences between a 2BR value room and a 2 BR Standard room at AKV? There is a pretty big difference in the amount of points needed and we are planning on staying for 4 weeks, so space consideration is important but view and such is not.

The Values only exist in Jambo House at AKV. They are about 3 feet shorter than the other rooms at AKV Jambo House. The 1 & 2 Bedroom Values also don't have a sleeper chair so the occupancy is one less than the non-values. The Value 2-Bedroom only has 2 bathrooms where the 2-Bedrooms in Kidani Village will have 3. The Values can have either a Pool View, Savanna View or Parking Lot View.

First time renter looking at possibly staying at the 2BR value @AKV for May 2011. How much of a demand is there? Should I act as quickly as possible within the 11 month window?

Yes. There are at most ten Value 2BRs but since they are lockoffs, I imagine that most of them get split up and rented as 1BRs and Studios. If I had to guess, I would say there would be no more than five available to be booked as 2BRs. They go fast because they are a great deal.

Sorry - one more question.

So I need to start hounding the boards in June - any ideas on how to sniff out an AKV owner? As I understand it I would not be able to post a "reservation wanted" post. Do I just need to keep constantly monitoring the boards?
