Anyone have a great way to deal with temptation????
Morning Everyone!
I've been doing ok this week. I'm having a real issue
with body image lately. Does anyone ever have this?
I know that I'm smaller, but still see myself as 200+
I went shopping for a new outfit and was able to find
a pair of 4's that fit me (I'm really a 6-8, but was happy
to put on a 4- If the tag says it then it must be true)
I haven't been this size EVER!
It's just hard working out and knowing that your tummy won't
ever get that ripped look or even bikini ability because the
skin was just too stretched out to bounce back![]()
Ok, that's my pity party for the year lol, I'm thankful for my
healthy lifestyle and I'm thankful for my friends here![]()

My goal is to lose 20 lbs before our trip. I am not sure how possible it is to do it, but I have put myself on 1200 calorie diet. We added the DDP to our trip and now I am wondering how hard it is going to be with the desserts. Does anyone know where you can find calorie information for food in WDW?

as far as workouts, switch it up often and that might work-
pilates, walking, biking, etc.
Please post what you are both doing for exercise/eating/etc.
and maybe we can give you some advice, or at least a lot of
support!
Beck It is normal for people to get bored with their workouts because they think they have to do the same thing every time. I change mine up all of the time and I am in the gym 5 or 6 times a week. But it is also a mental game. I love going to the gym and see what I can lift. How far I can jog or ride or how many crunches I can do. I look at it as a "self competition". I always want to better myself. If you look back through the pages here you will see where I have had a history an issue with self-esteem. So I have always had a joke saying "From the neck down, I have a little say-so in how I look. From the neck up proves God has a sense of humor!"I say that knowing that I will never have the face or the body to be a model of any sort but I always want to know that I have given it my best to look the best that I can. Hope that makes sense.

because 1200 calories might not be enough to lose weight.
I'm down almost 100 pounds (looking for another 10) because of monitoring my calories
(adding and subtracting calories as weight/exercise changed)

Welcome Amyz00 and Beckwhy!!We are very excited to have you join our family here. You have already met Twotoohappy. You will find out that she is awesome. She has lots of knowledge that can help encourage and motivate you through anything.
Amy Just by doing some basic math to loose 20 pounds in the next 10 weeks will of course mean that you need to loose 2 pounds a week. This is not only very doable but the healthy way to do it. Be strong and diligent. Don't "pull the wool" over your eyes. If you can do that, I am very confident that you can achieve your goals.
