Can I buy this anywhere on property? We are staying at Pop (leave Friday 6/8!!!!), and DH drinks a can of diet Dew every morning. I'm pretty sure that the food court has only Coke products, but was wondering if the gift shop might sell Diet Dew. Thanks!:)

You will only find Coke products on Disney property. If you don't have a car, you could check the Hess gas station by Boardwalk or Downtown Disney. I don't know if they would have diet.

No, everything at Disney is a coke product including the Hess Gas Stations. I'm a Dr. Pepper fiend and I actually pack some in my luggage. You can keep them cool in the refrigerator.

I to am a Mt. Dew addict and sorry to say only Code products. However, you can try places like Garden Grocers or WeGoShop and order groceries. Both have a minimal delivery fee of $20 for GG and $25 for WGS. I have never ordered, just tolerated but this year I am trying to ween myself off pop so I have picked up Crystal Light packets that you add to water. The ones I got have CAFFEINE in them!!!!!

If it's not a Coca-Cola product, you will not find it anywhere on Disney property, including the Hess stations. I would suggest bringing it yourself if your husband has a can a day. I would also advise to put each can into a ziploc-type bag in case something happen en route. And if nothing happens (it rarely does), you have bags since I always find uses for those on trips.

I am a diet dew addict too!! I would recommend either the 16 or 24 oz bottles though... NEVER EVER had a problem with them and have packed MANY MANY of them. I would be a bit hesitant to pack cans...it might be me, but i think you'd have a higher chance of something happening to one of them. and the best part about the bottles is they can be resealed! ;) If you do the 24 oz size, he can drink half and reseal it for the next day. At one point I drank about a 2ltr of diet dew a day. So, when we would travel to WDW, I weaned myself back to one 24oz bottle per day. and I can't drink regular dew, it has to be diet. So it's almost always a problem at a restaurant. LoL...
Good Luck and Have a Great Trip!! :goodvibes

DH is also a mt dew addict, the last few trips we have rented a car or taken a cab to get him stocked up for the week. I had no idea you could pack it.....a few questions

1) do you have to let the airline check in person know?

2) has anyone ever just packed and check a small duffle bag of soda?

3) I am assuming you can only do this in your checked bags?

4) Does the soda ( we call it pop in the burgh lol) ever go flat from the flight?

We are flying SWA so we do not have a baggage charge,,,thanks in advance!

There is a lady that lives about 5 minutes from MK that does grocery deliveries that requires no minimum order. Search on facebook for Personal Disney Shopper and send her a message. She only needs about 2 weeks notice to when you are arriving. She will deliver to bell services outside your resort the night before you arrive. Bell services has a fridge/freezer if you are ordering perishables. She is WAY cheaper than Garden Grocer.

I have checked 6pk bottles of diet dew w/ SWA multiple times and have NEVER had a problem BUT I put them in a suitcase. I don't know that I would be brave enough to try a duffel. That doesn't give them very much protection, but that's just my opinion. I think you might be asking for a problem just putting them in a duffel and then it could possibly make a mess of other people's luggage. I think I'd think that one through at little bit before I did that... :confused3
Oh, and NO, my soda has never gone flat....:goodvibes

Thanks for all of the replies! I guess there are alot of Mt. Dew junkies out there! :)

We have packed Diet Mt dew many times in our checked bags. My husband is a diet dew junkie and has to have at least one a day. We usually by the plastic bottles (20 oz. I think) and then I split them and put them in gallon freezer bags in case one would explode during the flight but that has never happened. I think 3 will fit in each bag. It never goes flat. We usually carry one in our back pack in to the parks each day and have never had any problems with that either. It does make your luggage a little heavier for the trip there but it leaves room at the end for all the souvenirs! :thumbsup2 Good luck! :goodvibes

1) do you have to let the airline check in person know? Nope and I have never had a problem.
2) has anyone ever just packed and check a small duffle bag of soda? Yep ha ha We pack an entire suitcase full of snacks and drinks (we fly southwest). We buy the Disney stuff too, but we like to have munchies in our room.
3) I am assuming you can only do this in your checked bags? I have never tried the other way...but would not want to. It is a hassle enough trying to get your stuff from the overhead.
4) Does the soda ( we call it pop in the burgh lol) ever go flat from the flight? Mine didn't

My Wife is also a DMD addict. Last time we shipped 2 12 paks down with friends who were driving. If we couldn't do that I was willing to pay the outrageous fees that some grocery service was going to charge ($15 for 2 12 paks) to deliver to WL.
It's worth the cost for her to get her DMD...:) truly...
