Hi there,
Well, I don't know anything else since we've been going at least twice a year now for sometime. DVC and Fort Wilderness. This year we have the
Disney cruise in the mix as well in September (gift from my company). BUT, Disney at Christmas is our most favorite time.
My SIL has a time share right outside of Downtown Disney and she offered. We can drive our VW bug down and save lots on gas. We can still cook and eat breakfast and some meals in the TS just like we do at the camper, and we are AP holders, so parking is free. However, I'm sure it would feel different. Even if we don't stay in FW, you know we will keep up the tradition and walk through FW for the decorations.
We're not happy about it, but if it means not going at all, then we will learn to like it.
We've done so much Disney this year and remodeling on our house, that we really should be more frugal for our end of year trip. However, I will NEVER cancel totally, it means too much to us. When we were at the Boardwalk in March we took a bounceback offer for Pop Century as another backup plan
One way or another, we surely hope to SEE you there the first week in December, along with all my other DIS friends.
