Didn't Win a Dream, but Were Given One by Another Guest

Just wanted to post that on our trip last week we were waiting for the Festival of the Lion King to open at AK with a bunch of other people. A man came up to BF and I and asked if we would like to have the three Dream Fastpasses he and his family had been given, as they were leaving the park! They hadn't used any of the fastpasses on them! We were so thrilled and thanked the family profusley!

We decided that we should continue to spread the magic. We had been given three Dream FPs, though we only needed two. Earlier in the day, we had gotten 2 regular FPs for EE that we hadn't used yet. On our way to the Safari to use our Dream FPs, we colleted two regular FPs for KS as well. After using 2 of the dream FPs for KS and EE, we kept a lookout for a family of three that we could give the Dream FPs to. Finally, we found such a family. We stopped them and asked them if they wanted them. We gave the two adults the partially used FPs, but also gave them the regular FPs we had collected for KS and EE, making them "whole" again. We gave the unused FP to their daughter.

I was so happy to get these, but almost as happy to make someone's day by giving them away. I think the adults thought we were trying to scam them or something from the looks on their faces, but the daughter seemed to know what they were!

I am thankful to hear that there are unselfish people out there that are willing to give to others rather than just think about themselves.

Some one was kind to us when we were at the magic kindom in December. They gave us fast passes for Peter Pan when they were on their way out of the park for dinner. WE were pleased because we had not ridden Peter Pan in years because the line is always so long and their are never any fast passes when we try and get them. year before last I tried to give soarin fast passes away on our way out of EPCOT but no one would take them from us so we ended up throwing them away after asking about 10 differnt families if they wanted them and them all saying no.

That is so nice. I will be spreading some nice dreams this February when I go to Disney. I am going to remember to get fastpasses and give them away. Anything to spread the magic.

When went in December 2006, we got FP's for Soarin' but then saw it only had a 15 minute stand-by wait, so we just waited in line and rode without the FP's. When we got off, we gave our FP's to another couple about to get in the stand-by line, for which the wait was now over an hour! They were so happy, it felt good to make someone's day! The good karma came back to us a couple days later at AK. EE was all of out FP's for the day so we were getting in the stand-by line but some guy came up to us and said his son chickened out and didn't want to ride so he gave us his FPs. These kinds of things only happen in Disney and they make great memories, huh?
