I'm sure my dd4 will love both of these but I don't know which one to pick! I want to take her for lunch after doing BBB but can't decide. Does Snow White appear at CRT? That's dd's favorite. Pleae share your experiences b/c you all know this is a very important decision to make!!!

Akershus. We have done both and while my DD liked eating in the castle and meeting Cinderella, you meet more princesses at Akershus and get to spend more time with them.

My girls actually prefer Norway to CRT.

You see more princesses at Norway, IMHO.

I prefer Norway's breakfast food.

CRT has location and atmosphere going for it though. :thumbsup2 But it is SO expensive.

We love Norway!

Unless your princess is dead set on eating at the castle- i think the interraction and princess selection at Norway is much much better. You don't always know who is going to be there since they change. Last time I was there:
Belle as greeter
Arielle
alice
Sleeping beauty
Jasmine

As parents I prefer Akershus but my 2 DD definitely prefer CRT. We didn't see Snow White at Akershus dinner but we did at CRT breakfast.

Akershus Dinner (12/06) we saw: Ariel, Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, Jasmine

CRT Breakfast (5/05): Cindy, Snow White, Aurora, Mary Poppins, Belle

When we asked the girls about this year. My DD5 said "Mom can't we eat in the Castle again instead of just the regular restaurant."

So I'd say if you can swing the increase $ for CRT it is worth it.

In about two 1/2 weeks I can tell you about storybook. We have only done CRT and Snow White was there. She took off my son's hat and kissed him on the forhead. He was positively beaming and then we said "uh you got some lipstick on your head" . Then he turned red and said "wipe it off, wipe it off no one can know!" He refers to this as "his deepest darkest secret - being kissed by a princess".:rotfl2: The character interaction was wonderful, but I can't compare for you, yet. We also saw Fairy godmother, belle - in her blue drees, and Sleeping Beauty.

Thanks to all! I think I will go with Akershus since there seems to be more princess interaction there. :cheer2:

My dd was 5 when we went four years ago and she was a huge Cinderella fan, more so than any other princess. We actually did both and I think she enjoyed CRT a bit more, BUT we did that one first AND she saw her FAVORITE gal there! (As noted, there are several princesses at the Norway breakfast, but not always Cinderella.) We found food to be great at both.

Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention that we had Snow White at both . . . but not sure if this is typical or not!

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the Akerhaus is only one meal on the meal plan, and CRT is two.

So we'll be trying for Akerhaus!

DD loved Norway much more than CRT. We did Norway 05/2004 and saw Sleeping Beauty, Mulan, Snow White, Jasmine & Belle. Snow White actually made DD pose holding her dress out to the side just like she was doing. The ladies definately spent more time at Norway and they have a really cool opening of the restaurant(at least they used to). We did CRT in 10/2004 and Cindy, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Belle and Sleeping Beauty were there. IMHO I thought that Norway also had better food.

We were there in January and we dined at both spots.

CRT was lunch on DD's 5th birthday. She met Cinderella, Snow White, Jasmine, Belle in her town dress, and the Fairy Godmother. She got some special attention since it was her birthday. She did not eat any of her lunch, as the food wasn't too kid friendly. She did get a birthday cupcake though.

We did Norway the next day for breakfast. We saw Belle as the greeter in her yellow dress, Jasmine, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty (who was her favorite at the time), and Mulan, who was the nicest princess ever. It was CRAZY busy here. We had to wait a long time for our food. BUT once it came, it was good. And the chef made DD some peanut-safe pancakes that were not on the menu to accomodate her food allergy, so we really appreciated this. The princesses spent a lot of time with us, and both Snow White and Mulan gave some extra attention to our the 17 month old, which was very sweet. Later in the day, we saw Mulan in China, where she warmly greeted BOTH of my girls by name. That was amazing to me.

So, you can't beat the castle for atmosphere, but the interactions at Norway were priceless (and only one TS credit instead of 2!) princess:

I'll put my vote in for Norway too! We've done both, but I think we all enjoyed Norway more! The food was WAY better and as has been said, the Princesses spent more time with us there. And, they were more interactive, teasing each other and having fun.

We saw
Bellle
Jasmine,
Aurora,
Snow White and
Alice in Norway

At CRT:
Cinderella,
Mary Poppins,
Belle,
Aurora

Belle gave Corey a big old kiss on the cheek, which was great though!

This princess (who turns 50 the day after) will be having lunch at Norway. I had lunch 3/06 at the castle.
I'll be spending most of my time at EpCot and Norway is easier. I can head for Off Kilter after lunch.
