On our last trip to SSR, we did not have sheets in our 1-BR for the pull-out sofa in the living room. And I read in someone else's trip report that they also had to call for sheets for the pull-out sofa. So I thought I'd post a poll to see if others have had this same issue in their studio, 1-BR, or other accommodation.

If you don't use the sofa for sleeping, you likely haven't ever looked, but if you're there and think to take a look, could you check?

Yes we have always in our stays at the different resorts had Sheets for the pullouts ( Studio's and 2bdrm's) Dd uses them thats How I know and have never had to call.

Now once they were still on the pullout and I thought that was a bit weird so I pulled them and asked for tem to be changed. I think most have been in either a draw or the closet

We stayed in a GV in March and had sheets for the pull-out. They were in the closet.

We have always had bedding for the pullout in the master closet every trip at OKW.

On our most recent trip at BCV at the end of MArch, the sofa was fitted with a clean bottom sheet and clean pillowcases, but there was no blanket or top sheet. We checked everywhere and then called. They tried to tell us to look in the closet - yeah, we did that - so they brought a whole new set. Not a problem - but glad we didn't discover it at midnight.

I selected "I didn't check" but now that I think about it there was and extra set of sheets in the closet.

Thanks for the responses. We've always had sheets, too, and on our last trip, we had the blanket and pillows up in the closet, but no sheets. We looked everywhere for them (and found someone's left-over clothes in one of the drawers - eeewww -it was underwear and pjs). But no sheets.

Our last trip to a 1BR at AKV, we had sheets for the pull-out chair in the closet but I didn't find any for the pull-out sofa. It wasn't until I opened the sofa that I saw them already attached (fitted and top sheet). I was a little paranoid about that so I just threw them in the wash, along with the "clean" ones for chair. I could have called down for a new set but knew if I washed them they would be clean for sure.

Do you think that mousekeeping make the pull out beds up with the sheets and thats why they are on the bed already. I would be surprised if that many of you have found the sheets already in place that they are dirty.

I'm considering taking snuggle sacks for our dds when we go as it will be so much easier to make the beds each day.

If there were ever sheets on the pullout in an OKW living room, I would assume they were dirty. The clean sheets, blanket, and pillows for the pull out are usually in a plastic zipper bag on the shelf of the master bedroom closet. I have never found them already on the pullout.

I suppose this means I also had dirty sheets on my bed in my dirty BCV.:confused3
Glad I stripped it for the next person.

The sheets have always been on the BWV sofa bed. At AKV last week the sheets were on but there was no blanket. It was supposed to be in the armoire but it wasn't. Housekeeping brought it immediatedly. But as others have said, I'm so glad we checked before bedtime.

At BCV last week we had to call - none were in the closet. Then on the last day when we were packing and checking the floor for anything the kids might have left we spotted the sheets and pillows under the pullout in a compartment. OOPS! Are these new sofa beds??? :confused3 They laid really flat.

Interesting. I would ever have looked under the bed. But I'm learning with DVC that it's like a treasure hunt to find everything.

Our last stay in a 1-BR at SSR, I noticed there was not a laundry basket either. But that was ok because we just tossed our dirties into the washer directly, although a basket would've been more convenient when they were done. At OKW, the basket was right by the washer, so I figured at SSR because the washer / dryer is stackable that there just wasn't room.

Well, on the last day as I was packing, I looked under the sink by the tub and there it was! (still no sheets for the sofa bed, though). But just a lesson in searching everywhere even if it doesn't make sense :)

The newer sleeper sofas that have the cushions that are not removable have a storage compartment in the sofa where the pillows and blankets are normally stashed. When you flip the back of the sofa forward, they are in there before the mattress flips over.

We usually find the sheets already on the sleeper sofa and my son crawls in.

Last November we stayed at the BCV's and it had that brand new pull out coach. the sheets were stashed in a clever little cubby hole directly attached to the coach. I actually called to get some delivered and the mousekeeper told me where they were. I got the impression that this was a common question since the new furniture.

We've had only 2 trips so far.

Aug 06: no sheets at SSR 1Bdrm. This was a problem as I had a massive headache & needed to get to bed. So it would have been better to have them there. But they brought them.

Aug 07: At BCV 1Bdrm, sheets were already on the sofa bed. It's a different model.

We've always had sheets but found it's a bit of a treasure hunt to find them unless you're in a studio. We had a 2BR on our last trip and found the sheets on our last night in the back of the closet behind the pack-n-play.

We also managed to find a burnt out bulb in the master bath, a broken towel holder that almost fell on my foot and a baby tooth (yes, an actual baby tooth). Since we were all well past our baby teeth days, it didn't belong to us. The reaction from housekeeping was almost worth the ick factor of that one.
