Did you see the Fireworks video?!

wow! for those of us who haven't been around DIS that long, that was a great video. i found myself moving my mouse as if i were playing the game.
it is nice to know that: 1. they weren't all flawlesses and 2. there were a few misses in there as well. that gives me hope!

I hope that this helps someone but frankly it looks just like what I do. I don't have any trouble putting the mouse on the fireworks, my trouble is changing the icon in time.

That's exactly what my fiance and I do, but we still can't reach that elusive 240K mark. We've gotten as high as 232,000+ but cant quite get over that hump.

I also have that problem of changing the icon in time. I would like to blame it on the keys not working, which really seems to be the problem, but it is probably me.

Note that even getting EVERY firework and scoring Awesome or Flawless on nearly all of them, he *still* only clears 280,000 by a mere 312 points. If he'd missed a single firework, or come in a hair later on any of them, he wouldn't have scored high enough for the green car quest.

Thanks for resurrecting this post! Last night I actually scored high than I usually do. I was only 832 points from reaching 240,000. I usually only get to 223,000. I have a wireless optical mouse and I think that is where the problem is. Sometimes it just doesn't want to move as quickly as it should. I usually wait until I see the white light on each firework, but on my screen, if I waited as long as the player in the video did, I would miss the firework completely. It is nice to see the video, though. I realized I really need to wait before clicking on a lot of the fireworks. Thanks again and thanks for the player in the video for making the video to begin with.

WDWTigger recorded it himself as he played the game with software.

I've watched it religiously since last summer and have moved into the 275,000 range.

I use a wireless mouse and have seriously thought about buying a wired gaming mouse JUST to hit 280,000!
