Did you see FINDING NEMO yet?? Thoughts? Opinions? Questions? & the trailers! WOOO!!!

We saw it last night and really loved it!! thre were 5 of us...me....DD (15)...DD boyfriend (16).....boyfriend's mom and boyfriends little sister (5) - we all went out to dinner first.

When we got home my daughter said she can't wait to see it again!

Did anyone notice the Buzz Lightyear toy on the floor in the dentists office??

Paula

Yes, and watch the 'traffic' that gets stopped right at the beginning. ;)

And one that's not a spoiler, that I read in People, who also gave it a great review, is that Steven Speilburg used to call the mechanical Jaws by the name of 'Bruce'.

Yes, the preview for Brother Bear looks good too!

Another Disney movie with a Phil Collins soundtrack, way cool!

Definitely going to see Nemo again next week.

Is this a good movie for a 7 & 4 year old? Also, I"ve heard about the sad part in the beginning...how is it handled? Would any kids be terribly upset? Can't wait to see it, but will wait until crowds thin out!

It's handled in a very subtle way that the kids won't be spooked by. Had lots of small kids in the theatre and not one got too upset by it.

We saw the one with the bear. When they showed the two of them on the cliff watching the sunset I thought...Lion King! And then the stampede! Lion King! We'll probably skip the bear movie.

Just purchased our tickets for the 5:20 show this afternoon.

went to see Nemo last night.... me and a good friend and all of our kids (5 total), but to be perfectly honest..... i think the grown folks liked the movie more than the kids....

*little spoiler* my favorite part was when the little creatures at school... called the "boat" a "butt"....LOL

very good movie.... the little short in the beginning was adorable.

Very good movie. DD's and I really enjoyed it. Thought it was a little confusing after Nemo got "lost." Seemed like alot of back and forth. Dory is adorable. But I will go see it again, cause I know there are things I missed the first time around. There are alot of adult one liners that went over my kids heads.

Going to the 5:20pm show this afternoon. I will post what we thought of the movie when we get back tonight.

We just got home from seeing it too. We loved it. I was surprised by the beginning, didn't know that was coming. I thought Ellen/Dory was great, the expressions were so Ellen, I could almost see her. I saw Buzz on the floor, so did my dd, she loved that.

It's funny how everyone sees different trailers. We didn't see one about a bear.

We saw Freaky Friday (again, saw it before Lizzie too). I know it's been done to death (Shelley Long UGH), but I do really like Lindsay Lohan, so I am hoping it will be good.

Did not see Spy Kids 3 either, my kids were hoping for it.

We saw a Looney Tunes animated/live action preview with Jenna Elfman, Brendan Fraser and Steve Martin, looks pretty funny.

Also saw one for Radio, with Ed Harris and Cuba Gooding junior, which had me tearing up just watching the previews!

I loved the short, the snowman is so cute!

BF and I went to the 9:45 pm showing last night. The place was packed.........WITH ADULTS! :D There was a scattering of families here and there but the adult w/o kids outnumbered the families. I suggest the late show for adults. Everyone loved the movie. Also, every showing yesterday was sold out. This may be my favorite Pixar movie.:D

Just got home from seeing it ourselves. Tried to get into a 3 p.m. show but it was sold out. Went to another theatre, got tickets and the theatre was packed 10 minutes before show time. DH had to beg a woman holding seats for her extras so we could all sit together.

DS8, DH & I enjoyed. But, my DS3 was VERY frightened at times -- as were other children in the theatre. Bruce and his friends scared him alot. They were "too scary" as he tell us. The whale scene scared him too. While he laughted at other parts along with DS8, some of the more intense scenes were a bit much for him.

We just got back and LOVED it! My kids, ages 2 and 6, both really enjoyed it. We all LOL so many times, it's was great.

We saw a preview for Brother Bear, it looks like it's going to be really good. I'll definitely go see it!

We went to the 5:20pm show this evening, followed by a trip to the mall for cruise dresses for our DD 12.

We "LOVED" the movie, we will be buying this one for our movie shelf. I got my tickets online this morning, and I'm so glad I did. Every show today was sold out. It was nice going to the theatre knowing we already had our tickets waiting for us. I'm not saying any more other than that my DD 12 cried at several parts through out the movie. Her mascara(sp), was running down her face when we left the theatre. She was a sight trying on dresses in the Deb Shop, then again at Friendly's where we stopped for a snack before heading home.

Loved it! Can't wait to see it again. Can't begin to name my favorite character. They did a wonderful job. If this movie was lacking in anything, it wasn't with the characters. I thought I would die when they spoke whale (I laughed til I cried), and Dory's memory (or lack of memory) was classic.

We didn't have a trailer for Spy Kids 3-D. We saw Brother Bear. I thought it looked cute. I especially liked the end of the trailer where the moose says if you are only going to see one movie this year it should be Brother Bear. And his friend answers that in 2 minutes these people are going to see a movie. So he answers that there is still time and we should all leave. We laughed out loud. The most clever trailer I've seen in a long time. The Pixar trailer was a hoot. I could identify with the round super hero. Think I need to see that one, too.

Freaky Friday has been over-done, but I'll probably rent it. DD loves that story.

DUUUDE!!! ;) LOVED this movie, we just went on the spur of the moment after I swore I would never go on an opening weekend, and we had no problems getting in to a show an hour after arrival. The theatre we went to was showing it about every half hour in six different theatres.

VERY cute movie, LOVED Crush the sea turtle...DUUUUDE...and loved Dory, Ellen DeGeneres was PERFECT for that role. When she did the WHALE talk I thought I was going to fall on the floor laughing. :teeth:

Duuuuuude, me too, on comments about, Crush, and the Whale talking by Dory, that was priceless!!!

We saw it and loved it. The animation was awesome, the story well written and so cute. As a parent we can all relate to it!!! I loved it.

The trailers were great. I have always loved the Pixar shorts, have yet to be disappointed in any of them.

Definitely one we will be buying when it comes out on DVD.

We really didn't get into the first 25 minutes. A group of girls would NOT shut up! We kept glaring, clearing our throats, etc. The people behind us finally said something. Their chatting was louder than the movie at times. After enough people fussed at them, they got their panties in a wad and stormed out.

After that, we finally could enjoy the movie. I liked it, but I wish I could have "seen" it. I was in the front row and at least 40 feet from the screen.....:( It sounded great!

I LOVED seeing Knick-Knack again! They used to play it before movies, when I was in high school...:D They REALLY downsized the boobs on the Sunny Florida girl and the mermaid though. I hope they put that on the DVD, when Finding Nemo is released.

DH and I took our three daughters to see it yesterday. I loved the colors and the animation was great. I think it had a great lesson too. I teared up a time or two even. Dory was hilarious and I too was ROFL by the whale talk. Ellen was perfect. They really did a great job with all of the voices. I can't wait until this comes to DVD. I will definately be buying it. We were in a rush to get out so I couldn't wait to see the ending credits. :(

As for trailers we had Sinbad, Freaky Friday ( I agree it has been done to death, but I do think this one looks cute), Radio (man, I was almost sobbing by the end of that trailer, I will definately go see this one), and the pixar short. ( very cute)
