So glad your AK day got better as it went on. The buses can be so maddening sometimes. Glad Dinosaur could cheer you up and hey I think your drawing isnt half bad

We both were a little frustrated especially when we saw the FoP line, ugh! We do love Dinosaur it cheered me right up as did the Animation class, so fun for a good laugh

I laughed when you said you conquered a triceratops. Brave lady indeed!

This is my speed nowadays

Sanaa’s bread service is on my bucket list. Unfortunately it’s not on anyone else in my family’s list so I’ll just need to dump them and find a new family . One day, maybe, I’ll be able to bribe them to share it with me fingers crossed. Weird ( a bit rude really) that staff wouldn’t acknowledge you before you joined the walk up list but judging by your food photos it was worth it.

The price is getting up there but it is still worth it in my opinion so unique and delicious

The view from the top of the tower and Dahlia lounge are stunning.
Looking forward to the answers to all the questions in the next update and hoping you don’t get badly hurt.

I will still pay it! And I will say, I have attempted to make most of these dips an dthey are all fairly labor intensive to make at home! And this does not exist by us, even though we have a large amount of Indian restuarants by us.

This is good to know! I get a little salty about all the big price increases but this is a must for us! Love it. Props to you for making all those dips wow and we have absolutely nothing like this around here.

We did not want to wait that long and we both were a little testy by this time.

We decided to head to Dinosaur, this would put us in a good mood The wait was a walk on, yay! We did this twice.

Way to turn it around!

I swear every guest must have been in Pandora because it was very quiet in these areas.

Which makes for touring every OTHER area pretty wonderful.

Once the class started we found out we would be drawing Turk.

Yeesh! That, I think, would be a tough one!

We didn’t have to wait long for this bus, yay! Sanaa opened at 11:30am, We got to Kidani Village around 11:15. We realized you can not join the walk up list until right at 11:30 and not a minute before.

Finally! A good bus luck experience. But... what?

It was interesting how the CMs at the host stand would not even acknowledge us until we did the join on the app. I thought this was just dumb!

....and they wouldn't even acknowledge you? Okay, that's just rude.

When we started having the bread service, not all that long ago, the service was 13.99, now it is over 19.00 dollars! Wow!

And NOT worth $20.

We went up to the top of Gran Destino to check out the Dahlia lounge and the Toledo restaurant.

I wish Toledo would open!! I keep looking for ADRs for my October trip, but it doesn't look like it's open.

Before I start this update, I wanted to add in food and drink totals from the last couple days.

On with the show….

After exploring Dahlia and Toledo, it was time to catch a bus to MK. The bus came around 4:30pm, we didn’t wait long, however, the bus driver made another complete loop around CSR. It was weird because our stop is the last before heading to the park. It didn’t take long and we were at MK. We decided to do some favorites in Tomorrow Land. Can you guess what these are? Well, if you guessed COP, PM, and Buzz, you win It was nice to see the COP family, I love this attraction.

PM was up and running, we love this ride and it had been a long time since we had been on it.

This was a fun time checking out TL, look at the Tron construction, wow, will this ever be done and will we ever get the beloved train back? We pondered all this as we made our way on the PM.



Buzz was next, we had a minimal wait for this and the other two.

This is a must do for us, if the line isn’t too long.

We also rode Dumbo, LM Voyage, and Peter Pan. The lines were all 15 minutes or less. We went to HM but this was down. Such a bummer!

We didn’t get a last ride on this tonight!

The park was not to busy, it was nice this evening. Most rides were low wait times. Splash had the longest wait around 50 minutes. We decided to pass on this.

We decided on Big Thunder, let the giggling commence This ride makes me laugh so much! Such a perfect roller coaster for me! It is the wildest one I will ride! Get it!

I will set the stage for the title, it really had been going on all of the trip but really culminated tonight.

During this trip, Andi would often be saying look a nose peeker, well she is often 3 feet ahead of me and I never knew what she was saying, half the time, I thought she was saying a nose picker. So, I finally catch up to her and ask her what do you keep saying about people picking their noses? She laughed and said Mom, I have been saying nose peeking. Oh duh, that makes so much more sense with everyone wearing masks

We had a good laugh about this walking over to Pirates. We decided Pirates would be our last ride of the evening. This is also such a favorite for us. Such quintessential Disney!!

Jack Sparrow my favorite pirate and I love the name Jack, since my wonderful son is named Jack.

We both wanted a treat after the ride on Pirates. I wanted to try the Kakamora Float, which is Coconut Soft-serve on top of Pineapple Juice and Blue Curaçao Syrup garnished with a Chocolate Kakamora Cake Pop". Yummy Andi went with the regular Dolewhip. I mobile ordered these goodies and we went over to wait. As we were waiting, I look over and see a man take his mask off and blow his nose with just his hand. This was so gross, he squeezed each nostril and just blew the yuck to the ground. Andi and I couldn’t believe it, talk about nose picking at a whole new level. I was so glad we were far enough away from him but still, so disgusting. He then goes over and touches the napkins at Aloha Isle and the silverware dispenser. Never sanitizes his hands at all. I told Andi go to the other napkin and silverware dispenser, don’t touch that one! Thank goodness there was another napkin and silverware dispenser on the other side. This really was terrible to see, especially during a pandemic! I mean who does that at anytime!

We stayed clear of “that guy” and picked up our treats.

Oh my, the float was delicious. Andi loved her Dolewhip and she ate most of the cake pop from my float.

We sat and relaxed in Frontier Land by the Pin shop. It was quiet over here and a nice way to end our MK time.


I started to feel a little stomach pain after the float as I was walking to the bus stop. Well, oh my, by the time I got to the bus I thought I was going to die (not really but you know what I mean!) I had such wicked heart burn pains, far worse than I have ever had. I told Andi and she said The Kakamora folk are trying to kill you, just like Moana! I had to laugh through my pain, it really was true!

Apparently coconut, pineapple, and blue curaçao are not for me! Wow

I had to take 2 tums and a Pepcid before it started to get better.

Unfortunately, there was no way I could go have a drink at the top of the tower. I was bummed about this.

Andi was okay with this and hung out in the room. When I was feeling better, I went down to the lobby and paid off my resort bill.

So now you know the answers to the questions. This was a fun, gross, and painful evening all mixed together.

We got up and ready to get down to the bus stop by 7am. Our plan was to get to AK early enough to have a short wait for FoP. Well, this did not work! Total bus fail this morning. We saw 10 buses for MK, 3 buses for DHS and 0 for AK. Yes a big fat 0.

10 MK busses and none for AK. That is crazy!!! Not sure if this is at every hotel but I noticed on our trip that there were no CM's at the bus stops monitoring things in the morning. Now I also felt like they served zero purpose as they couldn't ever seem to do anything, but the fact that someone understood my plight always seemed to make it a bit better

Andi and I got the giggles during this class. Andi was laughing at me and believe me, she wasn’t doing much better! It was really fun. We were feeling really happy, and laughing at our lack of artistry was a blast. It made up for our miserable bus debacle. Here is my award winning drawing!

We shared the the delicious bread service, butter chicken and Asloo Marsala, everything was so good! I loved it all, what I didn’t love is the huge price increases on everything! Sanaa bread service really does have to be one of the best things ever. I hadn't noticed the price had gone up so much. Though I gotta say its still worth more than $19!

Andi was okay with this and hung out in the room. When I was feeling better, I went down to the lobby and paid off my resort bill.

So gross about the nose blower! I can’t believe people are like that in public, imagine what they are doing when no one is watching! Glad the float was good but that’s a bummer it didn’t sit right! This was a fun time checking out TL, look at the Tron construction, wow, will this ever be done and will we ever get the beloved train back?

I miss the train. Loved chilling out on it singing Casey Jones theme song with my husband while the kids hung their heads in shame and tried to disown us Tron will win the record for the longest time it takes to build a coaster! Ever!

We also rode Dumbo, LM Voyage, and Peter Pan. The lines were all 15 minutes or less. We went to HM but this was down.

I hate it when your heart and your head say "yes" to some deliciousness and then your stomach says "WTH were you thinking-I will make you pay for such indulgence ". Onion rings do that to me now and I miss them so much I occasionally risk it only to be swiftly reminded of my foolishness

We stayed clear of “that guy” and picked up our treats.

We decided on Big Thunder, let the giggling commence This ride makes me laugh so much! Such a perfect roller coaster for me! It is the wildest one I will ride! Get it!

I always think to myself, "Why even bother if you're not even taking mask wearing seriously?!" I mean, I know it's better than nothing, but come on people! I am also stunned when people pull down their masks to talk. Really?!

What a strange night! Lots of fun, but also that totally disgusting guy and then the horrendous heartburn. I hope that was the last of it for the trip? And since?
