I thought bunkbeds would be fun but I read a post where someone said that she was anxious a lot of the time during their resort stay because of trying to keep her small child off of the bunk ladder. Our girls will be 7 & 2 and I thought that bunks would be fun for my older child and that my peanut would just sleep with us. I can SOOOO see me pulling my 2 year old off of the bunk ladder the whole time and using that frustrated mommy voice too much. I probably won't get bunks now. Did any one get them and regret it? Any other reasons why?
We actually took the ladder down because of this. Good luck making a decision. Only you know how your kids may react.
) you can tie a jumprope (that is supposed to be in your backpack) to the ladder and the other end to your dresser knob and pretend it is a trap for wild animals? Uh huh - and when your younger siblings, the wild animals, come in they will get caught in the trap and pull and pull until the dresser falls over and breaks!
Needless to say - they are gone from our house NEVER to return.
