We stayed in room 3320 of the Kudo Trail. Be warned, this was far from the pool/Mara, but it overlooked a watering hole where the male giraffes lived. The first night we were there, I got up for a drink of water, looked out and saw a giraffe walking along in the moonlight (a la Disney). I woke everyone up to see the giraffe and we watched him drink from the watering hole.
Little did we know, three giraffes would be out there constantly! Also ostriches, cattle, some kind of deer, and pelicans. I always loved giraffes (have you seen Tall Blondes on PBS - all about giraffes!) but seeing them like this made me love them more.
