Did you order the Disney Flix cam from Woot?

I just got mine and I am NOT happy!

The picture was of a nice little camera it did not show the box that is COVERED in HANNAH MONTANA!!! I bought this for my son and nephew!!!

Okay vent over... I hope others don't have this same issue

Oh how fun! I just took of the Hannah sticker on the packaging to reveal the back on the camera screen is really Pirates!

Problem solved... I am taking it out of packaging and re-packaging.

This just keeps getting better.... I opened the box and the software is High School Musical.

I had the same reaction. I figured I could try removing the Hannah sticker. In the process, I totally ruined the plastic holder trying to get it apart. I was pleased to see that it had Pirates on the inside. It also looks like you can put High School Musical on there, somehow. Anyway, my ds6 will love this. I'm glad it's not just Hannah because I would have had a fit, too (although I don't think you can return with Woot??).

YES! my son is 5 and nephew is 6 ... they would have FREAKED over girl stuff.

Ok. I got mine today too and totally love it!! If any of you guys are looking to get rid of yours that you don't like it, I now wish I would have bought 3 more. Please PM me if you want to get rid of them. As soon as I opened the box I started searching for the same one inexpensive elsewhere and of course no one beats Woot prices. Just let me know. Thanks.

I ordered it for my son also. It came in the mail today but I haven't been able to open the box because all the kids are home for their 3rd snow day. I thought from the look on Woot that the camera itself would be gender neutral. I do remember reading on there about some HM and HSM software but I didn't care about that since I have a Mac. I am hoping I can give it to my DS. IF not i'll have to give it to my DD and find something else for DS. You know I have to have an = number of presents! LOL!

stuff. Does it just record like a regular video camera? I was hoping my boys could just use it that way. I opened it quickly and then stuffed it away. Can it just record?

peel off the Hannah sticker, there's a pirate one too my boys stuck in there- I learned my woot lesson this time, staying away from impulse buys of junk after this. It's a cute toy,but it';s worth about 5.00. oh well,live and learn

I was disapointed too, and I have a DD. She is not a Hannah Fan. But as long as it works for her she'll be happy.

I ordered one for DH. It has not arrived yet, but I think he will be relieved when I tell him that POTC is underneath the Hannah Montana stickers.

SO glad I saw this thread! I bought 2 of them for my sons, and I have been freaking out over the Hannah Montana thing too!!! My dh keeps arguing with me though, and saying, "just give them to the boys its fine." Well, I can't WAIT to see their reaction...

I bought the same one for my two kids 9 year old son and 13 year old daughter and Hannah Montanah is just a sticker on the box and not part of the camera. I have to say if you bought this as a gift for a kid in this age range it's just perfect, my son carries it around everywhere and is constantly taking pictures and little movies about his life. Very sturdy little camera but if it were to get broken, well it didn't cost very much. All in all we're very happy with these little cameras and it hasn't left my sons hands since we got them in, and my daughter is planning a home movie with hers and the software it came with.

Mine just came today. It looks pretty neat, I know dd will love it. She always makes movies with my camera, and now she has her own! Can't wait for Christmas!
