Did you open your pool yet?

Not yet! I'm a big old Florida wimp who refuses to get in the pool until the temperature of the water is at least 87.

We can't wait though! :dancer:

We don't have one, but my FIL opens theirs on Memorial Day weekend every year, so we've got to wait a bit longer.

For the first time, we are hiring ours opened instead of doing it ourselves. (In addition to supporting the local economy, this will result in much less swearing.:thumbsup2)

Took the cover off yesterday. Hoping to get the water in shape for a Memorial Day cookout and swim. And an end of the year party for dd's class.

Our pool is being delivered TODAY and will hopefully be functional by the weekend! :yay:

Not yet--it's 45 degrees right now-a little cool for the pool...

oh, and that we don't have a pool :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Around here Memorial Day is usually when people open pools, warm enough or not. :rotfl2:

Not until Memorial Day or thereabouts. No sense paying to heat or treat it when the weather isn't swim-worthy.

Ours was opened last week, but we are still working to get all the levels stable. It's salt, so no chlorine "fog" but we still have to wait a little while. Plus, it keeps raining around here, and making things a little too chilly.

One of the many things I love about Texas. My pool never closes. We were swimming on Christmas Day. Granted we heated it but we have been swimming in ours without heating it since the beginning of March.

Mine's a small one. I will probably open the first week-end in June.

TC :cool1:

We had an inground pool at our house in Maine, and I LOVED it. What I didn't love was the fact that we were lucky if we got to use it three months out of the year. It used to drive me crazy knowing there were people in warmer climates swimming and sunning while I was shivering and shoveling snow.:headache:
