When do you know your room number when you book a cruise?

You can either choose a room when you call DCL to book (or online). Or if you are a GTY status like I was, you have to wait till about 50 days out and Disney chooses for you. The benefit to this, is sometimes if the category you chose is all filled, they may upgrade you, but many times you just get the category you paid for.
