They let out family of five steer the MT...the captain actually approached us in the boarding area to ask if we would like to "captain" the MT. It was very memorable!

Did you know that Tarzan's treehouse runs and plays music ALL NIGHT. lol Scared the beejeebuz out of me when we stayed in the Dream Suite. At 3 am I went to the bathroom on the side near the treehouse and the drums started up all heavy. I jumped. LOL

Did you know that CMs have to point with either 2 fingers or a whole hand when giving directions or pointing something out? Reason is that pointing with 1 finger may be considered rude to some people and CMs never know who they're talking to. After working at WDW all summer, I still point with 2 fingers. It's called the "Disney point"

Did you know that Dole Whip is lactose free? It has a milk enzyme but no lactate (so not completely dairy free. Also learned that making it this summer.

Did you know that you can ask for a map of the Jungle Cruise after you ride? I have one on my wall at home.

Did you know that if you happen to be in the park after hours for some reason, DL becomes a "backstage area" and no picture taking is allowed? You must be escorted out by a CM. I just found this out after having dinner at Club 33 and finishing at midnight. The park closed at 9, Main St at 10 so we were walked out to the entrance and instructed not to take any pictures.

Wow, very different from our experience. We've been escorted out a few times, including just a few weeks ago when they were rehearsing the NYE show at Tom Sawyer Island. Here is POTC after closing

There can be occasional exceptions. We discovered Troubadour Tavern is one of them. They can give you ice there but no water.

Also, did you know that if you drop your churro, popcorn, dole whip, etc. on the ground, they'll make you another one for free. Not advocating that you lie and say that your corn dog fell on the ground though when it didn't...

I don't know if this is exactly true, but I've heard that A Bug's Land is supposed to be the grass/lawn outside of the Hollywood Tower Hotel. Makes sense, but again, I don't know if that was intentional.

Oh my gosh!! That's funny. Just goes to show that different CMs have different stories and rules. We were very clearly told No Picture Taking. We were very disappointed, but if we'd wanted to, we could easily have taken some as our escort was in front of us most of the time. We wanted a picture of him with the keys to the 'land, but he refused to allow that, either. We were there last Friday, Jan 20.

Look at the storefront, down in the bottom (left I believe) underneath the window. You'll see the grille opening where the smell comes out.

Likewise on the vending carts, look up underneath where the top overhangs and you'll see it as well.
