Al and Meredith just did a spot on the WWOHP at Universal. They showed a quick glimpse of the castle and showed the designers working on it for the past five years. They also discussed the contest where you can win tickets to the opening ceremony - coming in the Spring.

You are probably right - I might have missed May.

I just went to the Today Show website to look at the contest details. The contest is open to teachers and their class students. The voting will happen on or around April 23rd!!!! BUMMER!!! That means the opening is MOST certainly after we go! Oh Well! I'll start hoping for a "soft" opening while we are there.

The rules state that voting will be April 23 -29, and travel arrangements must be made at least 25 days in advance. That puts the grand opening at the end of May. I'd expect some soft openings before that.
