Can you give me more info about the one at the Poly - we are staying there in 30 days and I think I might want to check it out with my 2 DDs.

As they say, you learn something new every day. This all sounds great. If anyone has additional info on the different locations and what characters at each of them, I would appreciate it.

There are only characters at the Fort Wilderness one. They are free to anyone staying onsite.

Add the Beach Club in there too unless they have changed it recently.

DS7 just asked tonight when we could go back!

I believe you will see a sign by the Volcano Pool with the days and times. I don't know if it is held on the beach of the Poly or on the GF beach near the Poly walkway...in which case it is just a short walk to that spot.

They should also give you a bulletin stating where & when. We went to the one at the GF last year and had fun. They play a different Disney movie each time...but what makes it is the smores kit (I think it was like $7 or so). No matter which one you go to it is fun!:thumbsup2 They usually begin when it gets dark(er).

Just check with the Front Desk at the Poly and they can give you days/times/movies information.

We did this las year, and it was a lot of fun !

The kids loved making smores (the little snack place sells supplies, but we saw several families bring their own), and the singalong.

The movie was Sky High, and we watched about half of it before they got too tired to stay.

It is rather buggy at night, so pack some bug spray and have fun :)

Is this only open to people staying somewhere on Disney property, or can you go if you are staying off-site (i.e. Windsor Palms)

We were staying offsite & went to the one at Fort Wilderness in April, we had a great time!

It's open to ALL. I can't remember the website but it can be GOOGLE'd for the movie schedule for all the resorts that have them. The one at the campgrounds has a sing-a-long and a visit with Chip n Dale. You can bring your own food, smores, blankets, etc. They do have bleacher seating. You do have to park and take an internal shuttle bus so plan accordingly. ASMu has movie by the pool. It's a blow up screen. Noisy with all the swimmers.

We stay in a cabin so we really enjoy it but here's some advice; take bug spray! Dh & I got eaten alive by, I'm guessing small mosquitos because our legs were covered in small bites. Ds only got like 2. This was in September.
