Gave - my DH a pass so could play hockey tonight. Hence the roses:hyper:

Not sure what he loves more me or hockey?:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Did you give a or get a Valentines Day gift?

No and no. My husband & I have decided that the money we would have spent on cards/gifts is better used on our trips.

Oh, but we did wish each other a Happy Valentine's Day this morning.

I know he got them for CC points. Since agreed cards only :rotfl:

No, we don’t exchange gifts anymore for Valentines Day. We used to do sappy cards, flowers, chocolates, etc. But now we prefer just going out for a nice dinner, which we will do tomorrow night because restaurants will be ridiculously bust tonight.

My kitties gave me purrs and head butts, and I gave them food. LOL.

My mom always gets me something for Valentine's Day, usually a little box of candy, but this year she got me a Ty Beanie Boo Valentine plushie, since she knows I've started a small collection of some of the holiday ones.

DH gave me a card with an invitation to lunch and a movie on Monday when we both have a day off. I gave him a card with his favorite chocolate covered cherries and dark chocolate. We're also going out for an early dinner tonight and taking our son who lives at home. I sent candy, new flip-flops and a package of socks (at his request) to our college boy. The rabbits will each get a lovely salad for dinner.

I gave gifts to my kids and flowers to my mom. I got a couple gifts from students, one from my mom, and flowers from DH.

I got the kids something. DH and I didn’t exchange. We will go to lunch tomorrow as he had a dental work done today.. I was kind of hoping for flower but “ oh well”.

I sent a big candy care package to my son in college. My husband doesn't "believe in" Valentine's Day and I know I should be too old to care but it still makes me sad not to get anything. I love buying and giving gifts but I don't get him anything anymore. I did just order a load of sushi and will enjoy treating myself to my favorite meal on his dime :).

I gave a card with a letter enclosed and I received a card and and my favorite Rheo Thompson chocolate.

My hubby ordered me flowers- they were supposed to be delivered yesterday but I have yet to see them. He ordered them from the internet (he is in Afghanistan) so I will have him send me the info tomorrow and I will be following up. He feels terrible despite my reassurances that it is indeed the thought that counts. :lovestruc He really is the best!

Reminded me... so many at our Weight Watchers meeting today were saying their husbands/significant others gave them chocolates. It's the thought that counts!

He got me some Pandora earrings I've been eying for a while and I got him a few shirts he's mentioned liking. We give one another gifts and like it. . :confused3:rotfl:

DH gave me roses, a card and a box of candy. I gave him a card and his favorite White Chocolate Lindor Truffles. And I grilled steaks for supper. Neither of us spent a lot money. Cards came from Dollar Tree and I figure all of the candy and flowers came from Walmart. That is fine with me. I would have a stroke if he sent flowers from a florist because they’re so expensive. But I do enjoy flowers from Walmart just fine.

We took cards and their favorite candy to our DS & his DFiancee. I also sent cards to my Mom, Dad & sister. Her husband is a butthead and won’t get her anything.
