Did you get engaged in Disney?

Hi Everyone,

I just got back from my trip to WDW. I went with my boyfriend and his daughter. This trip was already amazing seeing it had been 10 years since I had gone and it was his daughters first trip. The second night we were there we went to wishes. What a show!!!!! I was watching the castle and his daughter my back was turned and he tapped me on the shoulder. He got down on one knee and asked me to make his wish come true in front of a ton of people. OMG!!!! I had no idea he was going to do this. I was so excited.


My reason for the thread is I would love to hear other stories of anyone getting engaged in Disney. How it happened? What you were doing? Etc... I can't wait for others to share.

I got engaged on my trip to Disney 10 yrs ago . He asked me in the lobby of the GF he asked me to sit down and close my eyes and hold out my hands. We collect snowglobes so I thought he was suprising me with one. When I opened my eyes he was down on one knee and in my hand was a glass Cinderella slipper with my ring in it . Well 10 years and 2 DS'S later Disney is still a very special place for us. Congrats to you both and a very happy life together

I proposed to DW in May 2004 in front of the castle. It was such a wonderful experience and a memory that is still fresh in our minds. There was a woman who "caught the moment" and quickly snapped a picture. she ran in to us almost 3 hours later and flagged us down. She showed us the picture and we gave her our address so she could mail it to us. Only at Disney does magic like that happen It was such a magical trip

We returned in Oct 2006 for our honeymoon and been many times since. Disney holds a special place in our hearts and I could not think of a more magical place to display my ultimate affection for her than right there.
