Did you get an email offer . . .

for a $25 Disney Gift Card for listening to a 10 min phone tour of DVC? Got one Friday, took the call Sat and hopefully my card is on the way!

I read that similar gift card offers took weeks (if it got to you at all) so I was a little leery. I took the tour on June 11th and was hoping that I would have it before my end of July trip. So imagine my surprise when I received it not even a week later on June 17th via FedEx.

I got the email on 5/24 and called the next day, told her about the email I got with the $25 offer. I was transferred to a DVC sales agent and spoke to him for like 10 minutes. He sent me a package of info in the mail. Still no gift card. My fine print says it would be mailed 30 days after the phone tour. Doesn't sound like this was anyone else's experience?

There was a flyer in our room (POFQ 16-22 May) and dd21 called to schedule a tour. This was a $100 gift card. We took the tour and then he tried to put us on the bus back to the resort without giving the gift card. I asked and he was none too pleased. Tried to say that it was not written on our "card" when we arrived and said that since we didn't tell them when we scheduled our appt that it did not apply to us. I said she DID mention it during the first phone call but not the second (dd called to change the appt to an earlier time). He went and got the gift card.

After reading this thread yesterday, I went home and was surprised to find this exact email in my inbox. I called the number and was transferred to a DVC agent who gave me some information and then sent me an email with more information. I mentioned the gift card offer to the agent, and she said she would enter the code for that, but that it would take a while to come. It was not a recorded message like others have posted. I am worried now that they directed me to the wrong place.

I took my phone tour (a live person) on 6/14...no gc yet although I have received two separate solicitations from the DVC. Hoping it gets here before our trip!!

No code as far as I could tell although it did seem she already had my upcoming trip reservation info so I may have been flagged in the system with the offer.....if anyone wants to try the number to call is 877-727-6256

the first package I received in the by Fedx or UPS (Don't remember) was the details of DVC and the 2nd package from Fedx was the actual $25 gift card which I had to sign for. Luckily, I was home!

I just called and only spoke to the guy for about 6 minutes...he seemed really rushed. I have five more days to call. Should I call again and ask more questions? I tried to ask and repeat everything he said to take up time, but he was sooo rushing! Did anyone else get a gift card but didn't hit 10 minutes?

Ok, I'm neurotic!!! -- but I'm still a poor college student and that is lunch at Disney in October for me!!!

I called back to check just now and got a different lady and told her that I had spoke to someone, but we didn't talk for 10 minutes. She put me on hold for like three minutes and said I was good to go

I got it after I had booked my trip. I think it was for people who were planning on going soon because it said something like, blahblah gift for you for your upcoming trip if you listen to this thing about DVC!

Unfortunately, they picked the wrong girl. Ain't no way I'm signing up for DVC until I'm out of college and making a salary!
