Did you do anything to make your stroller "stand out?"

We're going to DW with our (then) 8 month old in March and assume he'll be spedning a lot of time in a stroller. Just curious if anyone did anything to make their strollers easily recognized in what I'm guessing will be the stroller capital of the USA?

we use flourescent flag tape on the stroller which we got from the local hardware store. While it wasn't planned one thing we did for fantasmic that helped. My 5 year old got a drink with a glowing ice cube at dinner in a mickey souveneir cup. We left the drink in the cupholder with the light still blinking. It ended up being very easy to identify our stroller after fantasmic in the dusk.

We took our own stroller and didn't see anyone with the same one so for us it stood out. But I added ribbon to the handle (is that what it's called? Complete brain failure right now) for easy recognition. We also went in March when it was raining so we would leave our stroller covered with an orange poncho ($.80 at Target/Walmart) to keep it dry.

If you are renting one you might try tying a variety of ribbons on it. If you don't mind balloons you could pick one and tie that to it too.

We have a red one so that makes it pretty easy to see in the daylight, but I like the idea with the ice cucbe for nighttime.

We got a license plate with our ds's first name on it. It's plastic. Not sure how I'm going to put it on there. Got it at Meijer.

Also was thinking of buying a bandana or two from the Tractor Supply Store. They have some coyboy or farm ones that looked boyish. Maybe I can use the bandana's to tie the license plate on. It has holes in each corner.

Like the ribbon idea. We use Christmas ribbon on our luggage.

Try pipecleaners maybe?

They bend and can be put through those small holes and around the handle.

Just a thought.

I got a bright yellow bandana and contrasting iron on letters spelling out our last name. I then pinned it to the top of the sunshade. When I parked the stroller, I made sure the shade was open and it was easy to spot. I also added a luggage tag, and using dyno tape put on our info on one of the sides just in case I had to id it later on.

Or cable ties - those plastic things you can use to hold computer cables together. They are cheap and easy to find in electronics departments or home stores.

We bought luggage handle carrier covers to make suitcases standout. They were an obnoxious neon color, and it worked beautifully. I bought mine on sale for $1 at Target.

I just tied a lime green bandana around the handle every day on the the rental stroller. It made it really easy to see in the whole line of strollers when we were coming out of an attraction!

I used a kitchen towel with a "hanger" that you'd put on the fridge or oven handle. Got the idea here on the dis boards. It was hard to find that style of towel though. I also purchased a golf towel for a 2nd stroller. It really worked in helping to see the stroller in a sea of strollers and we had an emergency towel if needed.

Ohhh...I'm picturing Lime Green towels that are personalized! That would be fun! And an easy way to spot other DIS'ers!
