Did you buy PHs from AAA Carolinas?

A question: we just received our tickets via Fedex. There was a diamond parking pass included, but it clearly states 2003 on the front. The blackout dates on the back also are for 2003.

I assume the parking pass is no good, and that this was a mistake. Has anyone received a parking pass from AAA Carolinas, and if so, did it have 2004 on it?

I had the same thing happen to us. My DH went and bought the tickets at the AAA office and they gave him a 2003 parking pass. I saw it when he got home. I e-mailed them and told them what had happened. They said it probably wouldn't be a problem but that they would mail me a new 2004 one to replace it. Just e-mail them and they should send you a new one.

Seems really odd that they're giving out passes with the wrong year if they have 2004 available. I'll call or email. Thank you!

I thought it was weird too. They did say that there wouldn't be a problem using the 2003 pass, but my luck I would get there and they would tell me it had expired and we couldn't park there!

That is WEIRD!!!! We live in the Carolinas and I always buy my tickets at the local office and never had this happen.

I will say this, however, no one at WDW looks at those passes very carefully--just a glance through the windshield. If they are the same color as 2004, there shouldn't be a problem.

Would you mind telling me what the cost of a 4 day PH is at the NC AAA? We are taking a short trip in Dec. We have annuals but my daughter needs a 4 day.

I don't see four day tickets on their website. A 5 day ticket is $232.

It would be good to get the latest year, but actually they DO NOT even get close enough to the pass to see the year on it. All we did was wave it in the window as we were passing on by the toll booth. Between the glare of the window, the placement of my hand and the speed of the car, there was absolutely no way they could tell what year it was for.

We bought our 4 day park hoppers from AAA Carolinas in June and paid $209 for each adult hopper. This price included tax. They gave us a parking pass that expires at the end of this year. We never used it, though. We only used Disney transportation this time.

Which office did you use? I used 2 different AAA Carolinas offices and had the same thing happen both times! In January of 2003, I was buying my boyfriend's ticket. It was the last day of the month, so basically February. They gave me a 2002 pass and told me it was all they had and not to worry about it.

Fast forward to December 30 of 2003. I was buying my parents tickets at a different office and got the SAME thing! These were for 2003, which was clearly over in like 2 days. We were going the first week of January, so it wasn't a problem, but still. Annoying!

You can still use it though, don't worry about it. Blackout dates stayed basically the same.
