I was ready to book my services with the LeJeune team until they replied with

"...because of another reservation, Patricia is only available for your hair services and would have to have all hair services completed by noon. As for the makeup, we would schedule one of our other artist and be able to to complete all makeup services by 4:00PM. The makeup artist we would schedule is also a
MAC pro like Patricia and has been working closely with Patricia nearly 8
months..."

My ceremony is at 5:30pm ... pics are at about 4:15 ... is that too much time in between!?? Also, do they usually do this where they split the work or does Patricia usually handle all services? It makes me nervous to know the person doing my make-up isn't a "pro" yet.... what do you think??? What have you experienced with the team?

I have not booked them (we are using Beaute Speciale) but IMO, that is a lot of time in between. So much could happen to your hair in 4 hours.... I would be so nervous!

What date is your wedding. Is it May 4th? (just looking at your ticker). If so, it could be my party that is causing the problem. If this is the case, and Patricia is happy to do so, you could come to our villa at BLT and get your make-up done at an earlier time if it is easier for you. Although looking again at the tickers, maybe you are a couple of days after us.

I have booked with Patricia but have not received any information like that, probably because my wedding day is still so far away. :confused3 I don't think my hair would hold that long (it doesn't hold curl normally anyway) I probably would look into finding someone else.

I would book with someone else (I used Beaute Special and they were awesome and very professional). I would not want a gap like that, it would stress me out!

That would be amazing hun!!!!! except my wedding is the 6th! =/ what time are your services at? because maybe the trials would be great to do that day!

It stresses me out just thinking about it! I mean it would give time for my curls to settle but I dont know that they need 5 hours!

I love your engagement pics! I saw a few a few months ago! I love your theme too!! I've emailed Beaute Speciale I hope they are available ... I emailed Patricia LeJeune as well we'll see what they have to say...

I had Patricia do my hair and makeup for my wedding day and MK shoot day. She came and did both services at the same time. I'd worry that my hair would be falling by 5:30 if she came to do it before 12. Would you be comfortable with having the other person do both services? if so maybe speak to Randy (Patricia's husband who does all her scheduling) and see if that's possible. And i'd also ask for a discount on the services since you wouldn't be having patricia herself.

Patricia has very high standards and I'm sure the person she works with is just as good as she is.

Also, if your makeup ends at 4 and your pictures start at 4:15...are you sure 15 minutes is enough time to get dressed and travel to where your pictures will be taken?

I have not got a firm time for her arrival yet but Randy wants me ready for our first look at 1.00pm and there are 5 of us getting hair done and only myself for make-up. You would be most welcome to come up if it helps you and/or Patricia. It would be so lovely to meet you too!!!

I didn't use Patricia, but would you be comfortable just having one of her girls come to do your hair and make-up? I'm sure they are all very good. I used Beaute Speciale, and they sent three girls that day and they were all great.

My wedding was at 5 pm, and we had hair and make-up done a little after 2 pm, we started pictures at around 2:30. I do think to have hair complete by 12 pm would be a little too early though.

discounts are always good but i dont think i feel comfortable with having my hair done that early. i just really wanted her.

now that i think about it... it might be 430 but if i stay at the GF it might be possible.. i'll have to look into it now ...

Thank you so much! That's very kind of you to say!! :cloud9:

May I ask why? You can PM me if you'd like.

Try Debbie Holland at www.debrasdos.com - I work with her on a regular basis (I'm an actress) and she's fabulous, she's also less expensive than most artists in the area and doesn't upcharge for airbrushing.

I highly recommend her.

I'd get someone else if I were you. So what happens if she's not finished at noon, she gets up and walks out?

Sorry to make you nervous. I just wasn't happy with her attitude the day of my wedding And she didn't do what I wanted she insisted
I go half up half down when I showed her the picture ofthe undo I wanted. she Assured me that my hair wouldn't frizz (which of course it did) and I just wish I insisted on getting the hairstyle I wanted. I know many other people have used her so I just wanted to give my experience.

Hi! (I'm new here. I just booked my Wedding for June 27th SBP, Dinner at the Grand Floridian Cafe & DP at Sago Cay.)

I'm also a hair & makeup artist and I'll tell you from experience that's a long time to have your hair done. With the humidity it will definitely fall and/or frizz. I would book someone else! One more thing... being a "MAC Pro" doesn't mean much. All it means is that you paid $40 to have a professional discount so don't let that discourage you! If you want to use the other girl just ask her for samples of her work and references! =) I hope that helps and that everything works out!!!princess:

I booked Patricia and I had an absolutely wonderful experience. I knew exactly what I wanted for my makeup and she was dead on. If she trusts her assistants I'm sure they could do the same. She also does not up charge for airbrush makeup.

As for my hair I could not believe how well it lasted! She was done by 1:00 and my ceremony was at 2:30. The ceremony was at Sunset Pointe which was extremely windy... so much so my groom and I had to switch places or I would have been enveloped in my dress the entire ceremony.

At 11:00pm people were still complimenting my hair and how astonished they were that it looked as good as when she finished... wind and all!

I hope that helps.
