I found some interesting things out in the newsletter this week. Photopass may be at all the rides that do photos by the end of the year I guess they are trying it out at test track this week, that would save us tons of $$ considering my hubby is a sucker for the ride photos. Hey does anyone know if they still sell the photopass CD for $99? I wonder if they will up the price now that ride photo's will be on there?

I was disappointed to find out that Tony's Town Square doesn't have a seperate lunch menu anymore. So I am cancelling my reservations for November since I was only going to try thier yummy sounding sandwiches. I don't want a spaghetti dinner for lunch, too heavy.

Maybe they've adapted the menu to incorporate both light and heavy lunch and dinner options? Check before you cancel, you'd be disappointed if you found out you'd cancelled for no reason!

Photopass at ride photos will save us so much money! Like the OP's DH I find myself drawn to the silly things and then get them home and think - now, why did I want this?

DD(14), my sister (18) and i are taking a trip down for xmas and to celebrate both girls bdays. we are going nov 25- dec 3. i wonder if they will have any of the ride photos then. this will be my sisters first trip to disneyworld, and it will be for xmas, and for her bday, so we want to show her as much magic as possible.
last feb DD(8) and i went down for her bday trip and we got the photopass cd, and it was great. it took a while to get it though. are they still only doing it at grand floridian? last year there was 1 person in front of us getting theres, so we had to wait, but it seems like they only have one computer to do it on.

I was at Epcot on Saturday and yes they were doing this.. the CM said it was a test to see how it worked out.. there is a slot below the picture camera and when you see your picture you have so many seconds to slip your card in there and it saves it to it.. if you miss your picture you can go to the counter and they will find it and swipe your card..

Our Test Track photo was added to our photo pass card 2 weeks ago. We had walked off the ride and they were trying to set up the machine, I said "hey that's us" and the guy asked if we had a photo pass card, he scanned and tried to print the picture but it didn't work. I forgot all about it until we got our CD burned 4 days ago and they were all excited that we had a test track photo on it.

It is funny because at the time we were disappointed because it was the first time our family (4 of us) was alone in the car and we wanted a poster but couldn't get one. Now I am trying to find someplace locally (Ottawa, ON, CAN) that will do one from our disk.

Edited to say the photoPass CD was still $99 ours has 261 photos on it.

Wonderful news about the photopass additions! We've always been much more apt to buy ride photos than posed street pictures......I've been hoping at some point they'd include the ride pics.

We too got the Test Track picture on our photopass!!!! YEAH!!! I am soooo happy since it was DD (3) FIRST time being TALL enough to ride it!!! And we did only pay $99 for our CD!!!! WAY WORTH THE MONEY!!! ALL 4 of us ARE in ALLLL our pictures!!!!

I am so excited we are going in November I hope that they do photopass at many of the rides I am also excited to find out they are not charging any more for the photopass cd

I never heard of the CD. Do you get all of the pictures on the CD and then can print them out at walmart or whatever?

How does this work and where do you buy them?

Adding the ride to the photopasss will be awesome. Sometimes there will be one we like and we will write down the number meaning to go back later and forget. This wayu we have everything on a cd and don't have to worry about pictures getting messed up traveling.

We also were at WDW this weekend and rode Test Track twice and got our picture put on our Photopass both times. This is such a great idea just like everyone said, you sometimes wish you could go back and purchase a picture and then its too late. This way you have it.

We did buy the Photopass CD and divided by 3 of us. You can have it burned at any of the parks in the Photo places. For example, we had ours done at the Film store right under Spaceship Earth in Epcot. Takes less than 5 minutes! It comes with a purchase agreement that says that you own the rights to that CD so you can just take it to any store that prints photos and have it done for you. I asked Frank (CM) and he said just to make sure you do have that agreement with you or else the store can refuse to print the photos due to copyright infringement and things like that.
