From NY. Family of 4: myself (28), my sister (33), my parents (60s)
Last year we returned from our annual Christmas trip and had some serious PDD: Post Disney Depression.
We started planning our next trip. Upon logging into Southwest around early January, we saw that it had really good prices for Easter weekend. Then, we found that Disney had really good AP discounts for Easter weekend. We joked for a while about pulling the trigger.
Upon logging in on Jan. 14th, the prices on flights were too good to pass up. We booked for around $320 round trip per person.
We'd really like to go again. I already booked a Saturday-Tuesday for Boardwalk to not lose out on the AP Discount.
Do you foresee the price coming back down? Most flights are either sold out or too expensive right now, but I know SW usually unloads its tickets and prices in "buckets", rather than all at once. If you don't think it'll come down, what's different this year than last?
