Did WDW extend the deadline to make a reservation for free dining?

Someone my dad works with is planning or has made reservations for free dining this September and told him that when he was looking online he saw that WDW extedned the deadline past June 21st to make reservations for it, however he could not remember the new date is must be booked by. So I am just wondering is true?

I know it was extended ... I think until July 26th (not 100% sure though).
