This really blows my mind. Do those senators and representatives not value the men and women who serve and die for our country? Is their sacrifice of no value? Maybe it is because Titus came home so damaged by the war in Iraq that this really hits home to me but how dare they treat this American hero that way! I'm willing to bet he had more courage and love of our country than any of them and there isn't a more appropriate choice for speaker on the fourth of July.

Democrats are always railing about intolerance and discrimination. But yet in practice, it is they who engage in regular state-sanctioned discrimination and who are intolerant of the presentation of other views. Maybe they are worried that people will listen.

I don't agree with stopping the "celebration", provided they actually do celebrate those other days....But at the same time, all I can find about it is on conservative wack-job websites, so I'm not entirely certain how accurate it is, or what the Dems reasoning actually was. They may be wrong, but could we at least keep the oh-so-original name-calling to a minimum...
