Did this happen to anyone?

I've just returned to VMK after having not played for some time (just lost interest, not banned), and I found that I had lost all my 'stuff', but, for some reason, not my credits. Anyhoo, I decided to play the Ship and Shipwrecks II quest to get a Dive Magic pin, and the quest started at #5, "Win at Ship Battle".

The quest then went through to task 15 "Columbia", and it said I had won, and gave me the pin. I had thought it would go back and I would have to do numbers 1-4, but I didn't.

Another funny thing was that it said I was playing the quest for 352 hours. I had been playing the High School Musical quest, but had to quit when I realized I needed the Dive Magic pin.

Is there a glitch, did I do something unusual, or is it something VMK is doing in Pirate Month?

did you have to pick a new name? When you are "deleted" if you go to create a new character you get your credits back. Wondering if this is your case.

Aengus, I actually picked the same name I had, previously. When I signed back in with my old ID and password, I noticed I had 10,000-12,000 credits, but a bunch of new clothes. I realized that I had been given my credits, back, but not the stuff I had collected.

I was bummed that I lost my Kellog's Magic Pins, Skull room, and stuff, especially now that I see VMK is charging outragous prices for the items that were once free. (Though I don't know why I was suprised, it happens in the Disney resorts all the time, ha!)

Yes then what happened to you is normal. It remembers your credits but not your inventory. I wasnt aware it remembers where you are in the quests, thats new info to me

This is basically what happens when your are inactive and they sweep up.

That's interesting to know.

I had, in my previous life, a Dive Magic pin, so I don't know why it would start my quest at task 5, but I'm not complaining.

I had to quit the HSM quest to get the pin, any idea if it'll remember where I was, or will I have to start over?

And, if I'm not being a pest, how does one get extra stars on a magic pin? Do I have to do the quest again?

When did you start your break?
Because they switched the car/space/diving quests so everyone can get a 2* Pin.

Hi Roller Coaster Gal,

I think I quit sometime after Christmas 2006. I then went back after Nov-Dec 2007, and started playing in earnest about the middle of February.

I know the Hidden Mickey quests are gone, and I'd like to see something new. The revised Fireworks game is, also, new to me.
