This all sounds relatively familiar...

We are going to WDW for a quick trip in Oct and were originally booked at Art of Animation (we were trying to go budget-friendly for our family of 5 + 1 under age 3), fast forward and we are now booked at CR TPV.

Sounds like my mom! We took her on our last trip, fully intending to stay at a value or mod, and she decided she wanted to stay at the Poly!

I still can't believe it. She asked my husband if he was sure I would be OK with changing our reservation. Um heck yeah!!!

SW Rapid Rewards even said I can cancel my POP reservations and get my points back. I can start planning my next trip now.

I'm WAAAY behind, but YAY for the Contemporary!

I have been so neglectful!!! Life has been so busy and our trip is approaching in about 2 weeks.

Even though we are now staying deluxe, I'm still trying to keep costs low so I can spend my $$ on all the other stuff.

After the hotel upgrade, I contacted rapid rewards to see if we could get our points put back on the cards. They said it was no problem and the points would be back in about 3 days. The points were back so I started thinking about what else we could use those points for. I found out I could get Alamo rental gift cards so I hopped on over to the transportation board and found myself a super deal. I booked a rental minivan through Costco and got a 13 day rate for $406!!! I redeemed my points for $400 in gift certificates and have received 5 of them so far (they are in $50 increments) The other 3 are on back order and I'm hoping they arrive soon, I'm also hoping Alamo doesn't give us any trouble using them. They shouldn't but you never know.

The ADR's have been adjusted to account for our additional guest and I added the dessert party. Didn't I say I wasn't going to do that again?? I thought it would be something grandma would enjoy and there just happened to be an opening on our first night. All other nights were booked solid, so I guess it was fate. I also have been checking for an Akershus ressie for 6/25 for weeks now and finally found a spot. That is a special meal for dd while dh and ds are at the YES class.

Here is the new ADR list (this list is FINAL!!):
Sunday - Crystal Palace changed this to an early dinner 3:30p Dessert party at 9p
Monday - Akershus with dd and Grandma (breakfast)The Garden Grill (dinner)
Tuesday - Tusker House Brunch 10a.m. 1900 Park Fare dinner
Wednesday - Yachtsmans Steakhouse (dinner)
Thursday - Whispering Canyon (dinner)
Friday -'Ohana (breakfast), Room Service (dinner for kids and grandma) The Wave for me and dh
Saturday - Teppan Edo late lunch

I'm not sure if anyone is following along anymore but I've got another dress finished for our trip. Dd will be wearing Snow White when we have breakfast at Akershus. So all my sewing for Day 2 is complete. Now to finish the other 6 days worth.
