WHOO HOOO!! We officially leave 2 weeks from Today!!!
With next week being crazy with Thanksgiving and not being a "Black Friday" kind of girl, I decided to do my trip shopping today so I could figure out my suitcase situation!!!! I've also been a good girl this week and actually got some work done and made some $$$ for our trip so I figured I deserved a day off anyway!!
At the Dollar Store today I found Disney Xmas Window clings, and Disney Xmas coloring books for on the plane, plus I got glow necklaces and bracelets for the kids and found a cool Toy Story night light to use in the resort room!! Got a bunch of other stuff too, but I won't bore you with the ENTIRE shopping list!!! But they did have 2 packs of rain poncho's and a good deal on bandaids!!
Walmart had adult Disney character t-shirts on clearance for $3, I stocked up on snacks and breakfast foods (pop tarts and little boxes of cereal), I was a little bummed I couldn't find autograph books, but I did get the clickable sharpies so I'll just have to get the autograph books when we get there!
I also stopped at Home Depot and picked up some Mickey Heads in every color so I can decorate our window when we get there! I don't know if it's just my store or maybe I misunderstood everyone else, but they aren't actually Mickey Shaped!! They are Mickey shaped color swatches glued to square card stock.... I cut them all out to get rid of the square background!!
Definitely made some progress today!! I also double checked all the park opening and closing, and parade and fireworks times, and made up index cards for each day! We're not doing this comando style, so except for park days and the 3 TS meals, I just wrote suggestions for shows, fireworks, and CS meals!!
We're going with 2 sets of grandparents... since I'm the trip organizer, this weekend I need to sit down with everyone and give them flight times, and the basic schedule! AND figure out how everyone's getting to the airport!!
Whew! We're almost there!! Need to finish packing over the next 14 days and I think we're ready to ROCK!!
