Did it meet your expectations?

It doesn't whirl anymore?? We just did PW in October and it was whirling like crazy!!! My boys love that ride..my DH won't do it...I keep my eyes shut for most of it!! LOL!!

I don't know watching some of the other cars they spun a lot more than we did. Maybe our car was taking a nap. I still enjoyed the ride and probably would have gotten sick if it twirled too much :)

Gosh, I am going to have to try Mickey's Philharmagic again. I must have fallen asleep for awhile and missed most of it. Darn it. I know I can't remember any tarts.

Exceeded my expectations

Wishes
Mickey's Philharmagic
Fantasmic

Dissapointed in

All of AK - always seems very very hot and crowded
Backlot Tour

Animal Kingdom and MGM Studios didn't meet my expectations at all.

MGM Studios was one of the lamest parks I have ever been to. Animal Kingdom was just a bore.

Both Philharmagic and Splash Mountain far exceeded my expectations!

Philharmagic is sooooooooooo MAGICAL :wizard: !!!!!! We experienced it for the first time at MNSSHP in Oct 2003. We were so amazed. Everyone in our group was commenting on how great it was. Disney magic at its best!

I was so surprised the first time I rode Splash Mountain. I bet we had visited Magic Kingdom 5 times before we ever took the time to ride. We had no idea how wonderfully themed the ride was. I thought that it was your typical log flume ride.......up the conveyer belt and down the drop. Boy, was I wrong. This is one of our favorites now. :teeth:

I have to agree that Primeval Whirl was a bit less than my expectations, as was the entire "Hester and Chester's" area.... I hope one day they will really develop into more of a kids area with more attractions, sort of like Fantasyland in MK. I was hoping for a bit more with Kali River Rapids, as well, although after comparing it with some similar attractions at other parks, I am not nearly as disappointed.

Mission: Space far exceeded my expectations, as did Test Track, Wishes, and Mickey's Philharmagic.

Can't wait to see how Soarin', Expedition Everest and Slusher Gusher will measure up!

Philharmagic and the Segway Tour both far exceeded my expectations!!:smooth:

Stitch and Primevil Whirl both fell far short ! :sad2:

Underwhelming - Great Movie Ride, Tarzan Rocks
Exceeded all- PhilarMagic (as others have noted), Ellen's Energy Adventure, Living with the Land

Odd unique category - went to Legend of the Lion King years ago and remember thinking of it as underwhelming - skipped it on successive visits. Was persuaded to give it another try. Thought it would be boring, but relented. What a great show! Not sure what I was thinking the first time around

There are a couple of rides that really exceeded my expectations at Disneyworld. Mickey's PhilharMagic...I thought it was going to be just another 3D show. I went on it hoping I would like it and ended up LOVING it. Rock n Roller Coaster was another one. I am not a huge fan of roller coasters but this ride is awesome! Fantasmic at MGM...I'd heard so many good things about it that I figured it was way overhyped...boy was I wrong. It's an amazing show :smooth:

I've never been disappointed by a ride at Disneyworld...but I'm preparing for the worst because next trip I'm going to try Stitch. I know a lot of people say to just skip over it completely but I just can't do that. I want to see for myself if it really is as bad as everyone says it is. So maybe Stitch will be the first Disney ride I'll be disappointed by.
