where you pay a certain amount for it, and they give you a gift card worth $1000? I thought I read something - I've been all over these boards - but I can't remember where I saw it???

There was a PIN code offer floating recently around where you paid $XXX and got a gift card for a good deal more (I don't recall the exact amounts). There were different values depending on how big a card you wanted to purchase. Reports were that only people who'd booked a package through WDW were getting the PIN codes - generally a few weeks before their arrival dates.

The offer has been out there before. You generally have to have the PIN code sent to you to take advantage of it (they're not transferrable), although there were several reports this last time around of people with trips coming up fairly soon being able to call and request the offer (although it was hit or miss).

I'm not sure if this is still being offered, but the other "gift card" promo out there now is the one Disney is advertising where you get a gift card when you book a WDW vacation package of 4 nights or more. Details from Mousesavers...

anyone know if this offer can be used for a stay at Ft. Wilderness? We are staying at the Fort for the first time this May and I was bummed when I found out we could not do the dining plan staying there. I'm sure this offer won't work there either.

You can get the dining plan if you are staying at Fort Wilderness.
