Did I miss something.... SSR?

I've been off the boaards for a few days. Is SSR being offered to DVC folks? If so, what is the deal? Any good reductions ? Thanks

went on sale ysterday, August 4th, 2003. at $89/point minus $10 MB if you want it.

The $10 credit is NOT Magical Beginings- you will not have to give up your first year's points. It is simply a credit of $10 per point for purchases of 100 points or more. You will still get your points toi use once the resort opens.

I just got off the phone with our guide, here's the $'s and things for SSR:


Projected opening May 1, 2004.

Points are now $89/pt.

For the next few months, they are offering presale incentives of either 'developer points' or $10/pt of your purchase. You do not have to give any points back for this.

For financing, no interest til April 1, 2004 and no payments til May 1, 2004.

He does not have a point chart available to send at this time, but said that the points per night are approx 10% lower than BCV.

Dues are 'low', but not as low as OKW.

End date is 2054. They do not know what will happen between 2042 and 2054 as far as what DVC's will be there still, but whatever ones there are (old/or new) you will be able to use your points at them.


So basically all info that was already out here in one rumor or another, just wanted to let everyone know I got the actual scoop from our guide confirming it.

I read a little more about SSR on the members site. I really like what I see there- what I can get to work for me on that site anyway!
