Did I mess up my reservation?

We're going to the world on 12/28, staying through the 2nd of January. We're staying at SSR but when I made the reservation, should I have asked then for a villa in Congress Park? Is it too late or should I just call and ask (knowing they can't do more than put the request into the computers)? We're rarely asked for a particular area in the past. Any advice? Thanks.

You can call back and add the request. It's not going to mess up your reservation. DH forgot to request "5th floor" when he booked a BW view at BWV. I and called and added to the reservation. No problem. And yes I did get a 5th floor villa at check in.

I've always gotten my requests, especially at SSR, even checking in really late(10-11pm). But from what others post, I must be the exception to the rule.
