Did I make the best choice?

With just over a month to go, I am realising as I read more and more food reviews I am not sure if I made the best choices :confused3

I am vegetarian and husband is not and we are not big on Buffets, we are going for 4 days and 3 nights (yes I know its short but we have to visit DH's family while we are there too), we have ADR at

Citricos
Jiko
Victoria and Albert

The only reservation I am 100% positive about is V&A (and I wish I had known about the Chefs table earlier  ) Are these places good? Should I be worried and desperately finding new ones? Any help would be sooooo appreciated. THANKS!

I've never been to Citricos or Jiko's mainly because the menus don't appeal to either of us. Plus, the atmosphere isn't to our liking.

But that's me. That's not you. None of the reviewers are you. Only you can determine if you will have a good dining experience. And only after you've actually been there.

People rave about the California Grill. We don't like it. Others give bad reviews to Sci Fi Dine Inn. We love it. A while ago people were giving bad reviews to LeCellier, now it's a tough place to get into.

The point is, ignore the reviews and make your own decisions. Otherwise, you'd never eat at any Disney restaurant.

I haven't seen too many reviews of Citricos lately (good or bad), but Jiko is very well liked. You should be well cared for as a vegetarian at all of these places. :) I think you made good choices. The best choice? Well, that's all relative.

Thanks guys! I am actually less worried about people's general impressions and more scared that as a Vegetarian I am going to go hungry or spend a whole lot for something that is only OK. I also am now worried reading some reviews that I might just get some better vegetarian options at other places.

I think I am going to need a vacation from my planning after this is done :rotfl: Maybe a trip to Disneyland the following week :lmao:

My DD is a vegetarian and Jiko is one of her favorite Disney restaurants! :thumbsup2 I know you said you don't do buffets, but Boma is another good choice ~ lots to choose from there.

V&A'a I have never been too but will be next trip in December.

Jiko's is a really good choice with an interesting variety of food.

Citricos is one we have not been to for years and the two times we were there, we were not impressed. It was so long ago though, it may be totally different now. It was OK but I did not think worth the price...especially when I compare it to places like Flying Fish or California Grill.

Overall though....I think you should be fine as on the whole, you definitely chose three upper 'echelon' restaurants.

My husband is vegan, my 8 year old is vegetarian, my other daughter and I are meat eaters. After doing my research on where to eat so that we can all enjoy our food, I found out that you can actually contact the restaurants a few days in advance and tell them any special dietary concerns and they will prepare something specifically for you. My husband plans on doing this before we head out Sept. 11.
Hope this helps,
Tam
