I booked POFQ for March 21-27. The first night I am paying $138 a night. The next 5 nights are $124 a night. This is for a KING BED room with a FL resident discount. WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Is there a specific building I should request?

That sounds about as good as you're gonna get at that time of the year. We're going that time and staying at POP. I *think*the original price was like,,$113 a night. Then i remembered we had AAA,so that saved some,,then they had the Fla resident disc, and i think we wound up w/$88 a night. Kills me,being that we could go now for what,,$54 a night? But it depends on the season, and we're meeting family, and March is when they could come. So for that season, its a decent price. We got POR during Memorial Day wknd on the Visa deal for $77 a night. We love WL,but i figure,,we'd save $40 a night on the room. Have a great time!!

Did you get a AAA discount along with your Florida resident discount? I was always told they wouldn't combine discounts---- i am going march 18-21st-- the rate on the Website for Florida Residents i think is 104 a night? so how do you get both discounts?

thanks

I would be interested to know also - I thought that Disney has never combined any discounts. We got $114 a night at CBR for the end of March/beginning of April which was $10 cheaper than our quoted AP rate so naturally we took that one but if we could combine discounts. . .that would be much better. Please let us know how you managed this - thanks:)

I'm interested in this too. Two discounts would be GREAT!!

I'm not the original poster, but I'm sure the $88 is the FL res.rate only, because my dad is a FL res. and an AP holder and I booked a room for him at that same rate when I made DH & my reservation. They don't combine rates, but do give the deepest discount available to you when you call.

We don't do double discounts at DRC...FYI.

During the time frame you are coming, King rooms are 194/night at rack rate, so the amount you're paying is good for the season.

I apologise!! My post was unclear. I meant to say that first i got a rack rate. Then i remembered i had a AAA card,,so i called,,replacing rack rate w/AAA rate. Then i saw they had a Fl. Res rate,,so i called again,,replacing my AAA rate w/the FL Res rate. I am NOT getting 2 discounts,,iwas trying to say that the Fl. Res rate was a better rate than the AAA rate,,not that i was able to combine 2 discounts. sorry!!

I booked a room at a moderate (Coronado Springs--standard room) for March 18-21st-- and I am also a Florida Resident-- the code on teh web site for the rate was CTT, I think. Anyway, my rate didn't go that low--- like yours did. What was the final rate that you got on the POFQ as a Florida resident?? Do you remember the code number for this-- if it was a Florida resident deal?? Any ideas why mine was more? Am I missing some rate deal here and do you think I should call back and ask? Just curious as I am fairly new at this??

thanks so much! :)
