Did I do this waitlist right??

Ok, finally rescheduling our trip for Feb. The week in a 1BR I wanted had one unavailable night right smack in the middle. So I booked the first 4 nights, the last 2 nights, waitlisted the 5th night, and then booked a 2BR at the same resort, with the waitlist set to cancel it. So I have 3 confirmed reservations and one Waitlist night right now . I suppose best case scenario is the one night quickly comes through and I merge all 3 reservations. Worst case is we end up with 3 different rooms? Was this the correct strategy?

I bought 6 day park passes nearly a year ago and they now say good til sept. 2021, any days. Should I be linking them to a particular room ressie? I have not even started to look at all the fastpass window changes and such... I'm overwhelmed.

I think you did the waitlist just right to give you the best chance of ending up with one reservation for the 1 bedroom. Good luck.

Link the ticket(s) to your MDE account if you haven' already. Link the resort reservations to MDE also. That's all you need to do to make park reservations. ( I assumed you listed everyone going on the reservations, so that you can do park reservations for all of them).

Thanks! I linked the tickets to MDE at the end of Feb. when I decided to cancel our May trip. Yeah, all 5 of us are on the room reservations. For some reason I can't see my husband and teen son as "traveling party" but I think I can when I do fastpasses, if I remember correctly. But oh yeah, park reservations now too. This is gonna take some really methodical planning... and after dozens of trips I've gotten lazy over the years. I just wish I didn't have 3 confirmation numbers to juggle, but here's hoping . Riviera 2021!!
