Help!

My friends and I are going to WDW in april. It's their first time and because I've raved about Fantasmic so much they do NOT wanna miss it. As the show is not on very much now they asked me to book the dining package. However, we were hoping for H&V cause we're trying to keep costs down a bit. I could only get one slot at HBD instead. I've booked it because I figured it was the best (only) option and I know the restaurant is supposed to be great. But I'm wondering - have I made the right choice? Is it going to be good enough to justify the $20 more per person? Or should I cancel and just queue up VERY early for Fantasmic? We only have two chances to see the show according to the current timetable as we have ADRs or other plans on the other nights.

Help?

Thanks

Our last trip we also could only get The Brown Derby instead of our usual H&V. We liked it so much that we are choosing the Brown Derby again this trip.

The food is good at the H&V. But the relaxed atmosphere and the service at the Brown Derby made it the clear winner for our family.

HBD has fabulous food. It's definitely a step up from the non-signature restaurants. I think you made a great choice.

I've done H&V about...4=5 times... or so....

The last visit H&V F! Package....LOVED IT!

I booked HBD for F! package for May... and I'm VERY EXCITED to try it...the menu is fabulous...and many folks have blogged GREAT THings about the "Derby"!

Thanks guys! It's difficult when you're booking for other people. I'm personally a case of 'must not miss fantasmic' so I'll eat anywhere but it's hard knowing if the others will feel the same when they've never seen the show.

Once they see the show that will not care that The Brown Derby cost a bit more. We have never eaten there but hope to one day. As there are very limited times to see Fantasmic while you are down there I would definately book the package.

Thanks Linda - that's kinda what I'm hoping. It's my favourite show and I'm gutted they're not showing it that often. These two are big disney fans and big disney music fans so I think they'll love it too! I'm booked, let's hope they are fine with it :-)
