I recently bought some tangled ornaments on ebay. When it arrived, i noticed that the quality was just not there. The horse was extremely dirty, the paints were off, and overall bad. After some research i found the same toys at the disneystore website, except they were *not* ornaments. They look like duplicates of the 6 pc play set (except they left out hookhand).

I sent a email to disneyantipiracy, but i need a official reply from them that they are indeed counterfeit so that i can get my money back. Do they normally do this? Is there a number i can call? Or other emails?

Have any of you seen these at the disney store? I dont think i can post links. but they look like the play set with screws in them and green thread. On the bottom it reads:

"(copyright) Disney, MADE IN CHINA and then it has a code: R643-9220-8-11160" (all of them the same number)

Not to mention, i payed almost twice as much as the price listed at disneystore.

i saw them too on ebay. i look like they placed hooks in the figure play set. did you pay with paypal. if you have you can make a claim

If it's from the same seller who has two sets up right now (just search "Tangled ornament set" on eBay), then I think it's pretty clear that they're customs and not "official" ornaments. The toys themslelves are official products, yes, and then they were turned into ornaments by the seller.

I wouldn't consider that counterfeit. You're basically just paying them for the work they did of screwing in the green string. Worth twice the price? Not to me, but I'm not sure if PayPal will honor a refund. Maybe, though, since they favor buyers over sellers 99% of the time.

Yes, I would agree, not counterfeit. They took an official Disney product sold by Disney and adapted it for resale. Counterfeit would be a knock off product not manufactured by Disney....... I don't think Disney is involved at all, so I would not contact them. You could try and claim to Paypal that the item was not as described or something. But really, they ARE Ranunzel ornaments now, with the strings attached to them.....
