Did Homecomin' brunch ever get any better?

Early reports of Homecomin' brunch were brutal, a lot of people (myself included) hoped that the kinks would get smoothed out pretty quickly because the concept was great.

Has anyone who's been there in the past week or so enjoyed their meal? We have a dinner reservation for Homecomin' the day we arrive (it's a Sunday), but brunch would fit better into our plans if a time opened up.

My husband and I were at brunch last Sunday and we enjoyed our food a lot. We shared the caramel maple bacon donuts, there were only three which was perfect for us but if you have more people it might be a problem. I got the hallelujah biscuit, tasty but messy to eat and needed a bit of salt. My husband got the fried chicken and donuts and he enjoyed that. It was very busy in the restaurant too.
