Did Garden Grill Get Better?

Specifically, has the Garden Grill gone back to the "old" menu of all-you-can eat downhome goodies? I got scared off once I read all the bad reviews of the "new" menu. And it used to be a place we never missed? I saw a recent menu on All Ears and it seemed to be back to its old self. Just want to confirm.

thanks

We went to the Garden Grill last October. I just checked allears and the menu looks the same as the meal we had, and they would bring you more of anything if you wanted. We thought the food was good, and the service was outstanding. Our server seemed to be bending over backwards for us. They even made an effort to get a picture of our twins with both Chip and Dale at the same time. We didn't ask for anything, the cast members were just going the extra mile to please us. Either we got lucky, or their customer service is "stellar". Great meal! Great experience!

I always liked GG in the old days, I never had the new version but the reviews sure were bad. We were there in December and decided to give it a try again and I have to say that while I always liked it before I love it now. Just a tad bit better all around and the new dessert platter sure beat the pants off the old cobbler. :thumbsup2

We are doing the free dining in Sept and GG is one of the few old restaurants we are going to eat at. About everything else is something new. Hey, for free who cares if it is the best or not and we just may add a few new 'favorites' to our next trip.

We also had a great time at Garden Grill with the little ones. The food was yummy and the character interaction was great.

While I like the Garden Grill, I preferred its predecessor the Land Grill (actual menu with a large selection of good food).

Yes GG is "back to normal", except for the dinner price which has risen considerably. My only complaint in our Dec visit was with the salad, which was a mediocre caesar salad instead of the traditional mixed greens with veggies grown in the Land. Everything else was as good or better than in the past, and dessert was MUCH better!

We have gone here every year and will be going back this year. Right now the dinner price seems to be $7 higher than the lunch price, so we'll probably go for lunch.
